Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.

My husband and I stayed in a triple room (all the doubles were full) for a week and loved the Lime Tree Hotel. The staff - every single one of them, from Matt, the owner, to Sofia, Laura, Jitka and Raquel (I hope that I got your names right...), was just wonderful. The rooms are

We received the warmest of welcomes and accommodating help in management of our luggage. Charming, spacious bedroom, spotlessly clean bathroom. Great breakfast. The hotel is conveniently situated near Victoria station in a fascinating and pleasant part of London.

This small hotel is located in a pleasant location and is convenient for walking and public transportation. Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Bathrooms are modern, if small. The staff, both at front desk and in breakfast room are wonderful, friendly and very helpful.

I truly enjoyed my stay here, although it was only for 2 nights. The staff were so friendly and my room was lovely. Breakfast was delicious and served in a tranquil dining room with beautiful views onto Ebury and Elizabeth streets. The Belgravia neighborhood was a real joy! The

The others have this correct. There is no lift and plenty of stairs. I was there in September and at aged 72 I had no problem with the stairs but I did ask the staff to carry my bags. A delightful hotel.

I agree with the other posts here. Always take the heat grow express when you can it so much faster than a cab. The walk from Victoria station is like 4 blocks.

When we were there in September for a week, we had a great complementary breakfast everyday. They were fully cooked from full English to continental what ever you wanted. The full English included bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes, baked beans and toast. You could also choose any portion of that such as the toast and bacon I liked or porridge (oatmeal), yogurt etc. They also brought around a danish and croissant basket. Every morning you were brought a pot of tea or coffee. The service was fantastic! Breakfast at the Lime tree was the thing we miss most about our stay in London!
