If you are looking for low, low budget, then this is your place. But, be prepared for the lowest standards. I came with a group of students. I could barely walk around the room. The rugs were so dirty, I wouldn't walk around in bare feet. The curtains were ripped. My window looked out over a dead end ally. I...

We were here a few years ago and didn't hesitate to book again. Glad to report they're as friendly as ever and it's an incredible value. Everywhere in central London is pricey. You just have to accept that. This place was old and tired BUT clean, tidy and CENTRAL!! It's right next to the Paddington Station which is so great. The staff were absolutely lovely! Welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so they offered us a free breakfast and larger room...

We chose this hotel based on Rick Steves' recommendation in his London 2016 book, and its proximity to Paddington Station. It is close to the station, but that is the only thing to recommend it. Overnight business stay in this conveniently located hotel. Not overly flashly but the pricing reflects this appropriately. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable. What more could you ask for ?
