Warm friendly welcome and engaging staff! Discovered the back lounge on my final morning and preferred this to the front one. Location and Value for Money cannot be faulted. You get what you pay for with the YHA and don't have unrealistic expectations. Remember what you could be paying elsewhere and be grateful for this charity.

Check in and arrival was great, students had space to wait whilst rooms were being sorted. Hostel staff very welcoming and understanding of a large group of 14-15 year old students and clear instructions were given and guidelines were clear. Rooms spacious and ideal for groups of students, staff were located near to student rooms which was ideal. Breakfast served...

I booked YHA Earls Court as I've recently stayed at YHA Manchester, and was so impressed with the facilities that I decided to stay with them in London. First of all, the location is fantastic, for me at least - it's not quite in the very middle of the city, and is on a quiet, mainly residential street off Earls...

Great place, not sure about breakfast we went to the cafe on the corner (good value for money) good location, close to Earl's Court tube station, really nice staff, really helpful. Facilities were basic but clean. Common room is a great place to relax. Food from reception 24/7

It is a comfortable hostel, where one can come across a variety of people of all age from around the world. I stay here regularly. As a rule, here stay intelligent people with low income. The sraff is friendly and not intrusive, and I have never witnessed any arguments here. It is based in a safe , well located enviroment....

I always stay at the youth hostel association Earls Court when staying in London, as it gives me flexibility at a low cost, while meeting lots of interesting people from around the world. The situation is very good for access to Central London but within a quiet area.

i was there for 4 nights and we were really surprised by this youth hostel.excellent on most services. The sound proofing perhaps needs to be spruced up,the guests should try not to come back after midnight completely pissed, but then again those minor things are nothing that can ruin your stay...then again it was summer ...

Stayed here with my partner for 3 nights while visiting London. Location is perfect since the Earls Court tube station is only a five minute walk, just take the Piccadilly line and you can get off close to most sights in the center without having to change line. We decided to have the 'continental breakfast' that is offered by the...

I would hope given the time of year/availability that the service would have been focused upon the guest as opposed to the convenience of the staff/house keeping routine. It is not my first visit to YHA Earls Court

I really liked the hostel. It's close to the tube Station Earl's Court. Friendly staff. There are enough bathrooms for everybody and they were clean. The kitchen is also well-equipped. I shared a room with 5 other women. The lockers under the bed were too small. Besides my roommates were quite loud and inconsiderate.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
