The star I gave was for the beautiful arquitecture of the building. The Lobby and decor is so beautiful and it takes you back in time to an old luxurious London,
The rooms are dated and old, the beds uncomfortable and upon arrival our bathtub...More

Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and
some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.

I stayed at the hotel in February, the passage to Victoria station is via a steep flight of stairs. There was NO lift connecting to the lobby and station. I would say it was about 25 steps. I also stayed a couple of Days at the St. James Court Taj which is not very far from the Victoria station. The taj is a similar hotel, the entry has only two or three steps and a small a ramp which makes it much easier to maneuver.
