Highly recommend the Grosvenor Hotel. Clean, quiet and extremely convenient to all public transportation. Staff very helpful. As a personal aside, we have 2 special reasons to recommend the hotel: early check in after an overnight flight AND they graciously let us watch the NFL playoffs in the hotel bar. Doesn't get much better. We will return.

Our stay at the Grosvenor Hotel was a surprise birthday treat from my other half as we were seeing Wicked nearby. Check in staff were lovely on our day of arrival, we were checked in promptly and with a friendly smile. We had booked a standard double and when we got to the room I found a stain of possibly...

We stayed for just one night at the Grosvenor Hotel during November 2016. We had a lovely room. Everything was tasteful and the bathroom well stocked with lovely toiletries. We had lunch and high tea with friends the following day after checking out and the staff were helpful and friendly...the food very good. The hotel is extremely well situated with...

This is a atmospheric hotel with really friendly and attentive staff. The location is really central and with a back entrance directly into Victoria Station makes it really convenient. We travelled by train from Bicester in Oxfordshire and once on the train we never had to go outside in the rain once for the whole journey. We ate in the...

We stayed here whilst down in London for the theatre. The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are nice. The bathroom wasn't clean to a standard I would expect and the room had dust on the tables, we asked for the room to be serviced and when we returned in the evening the dust was still there...

We stayed here for two nights last week. Our standard room was impressive for London standards. Unfortunately we had a few maintenance issues and it's the way the hotel (Corina on reception) dealt with it that makes it 5 star service in our opinion. We were moved the next day to a superior room with minimal fuss. Both rooms were...

Just a one night stay, but a good experience. Great staff, a great old railway hotel that forms part of Victoria station. Didn't eat here, but rooms good size for London, clean, good beds, bathroom. Only downside limited TV and dodgy wifi. Will stay again for sure.

This hotel is fabulously located. Connected to the Victoria train station, you're at the centre of things. This also means that you'll be tripping over enterprising travellers availing themselves of the facilities in the lobby. You may also be, as I was "upgraded". A quick google search showed that this wasn't true. No complaints, because I got the exact grade...

Overall the room was very big and seemingly luxurious. The reservation and conceirge staff were all very pleasant and very welcome. They offered any and all assistance thay could provide. The bathroom was well equipped with all the usual necessities. The room itself had a large closet, tv on drawers, two night stands, and desk with chair and sitting chair....

Our trip was excellent, the team is really welcoming. Thank you for the room, it was perfect ! The entrance is just out of the station, very easy. The breakfast is well presented. The hall is also magnificent !

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
