As a belated valentines present my husband took me to the Grosvenor to enjoy afternoon tea and enjoy it we did. We were seated in high winged chairs looking out to the main road beyond and enjoyed our tea in the lounge. The service was excellent as you would expect in an establishment such as this, the ambiance was just...

Hotel is in a beautiful building and the staff are very friendly and helpful however: Afternoon tea was served on stale white bread; the Chinese restaurant has a limited menu and is over priced. I had shredded crispy chicken that was extremely salty and dry and delivered in a large pile in a bowl the size of a gravy boat....

My partner, daughter and myself all stayed at The Grosvenor from 17th - 20th February as we were in London to see Harry Potter and the cursed child for my daughters birthday. Although the actual hotel is absolutely beautiful we were rather disappointed in the service we received. We arrived around lunch time on the 17th to be told the...

Location - If you want a centrally located hotel, this place is for you. Victoria station is connected to this hotel and you can get anywhere in the city using the underground (tube) or walking over to the Victoria Coach station (different place, similar name; I know confusing). Service - We had an issue with our room where we could...

Stayed for one night. The room was really small. The cupboard was especially tiny with no room to hang anything because they keep the ironing board in there. The place does not feel very fresh with several walls dirty. Very nice gym, wish it opened before 6am. There is no one in attendance so its unclear why it closes overnight.

We booked the hotel with out really knowing much about it and were pleasantly surprised from our stay! A well kept piece of history in the middle of the city. Great location, nice rooms and a very helpful and friendly service. We will especially like to thank Corina for making our stay so enjoyable.

The hotel was in one word great. We slept in the executive room and also had acces to the executive lounge. The staff was genuinely kind and were able to make us have an excellent experience. The location of the hotel was perfect, with the underground, train-station and a few busstops right around the corner we went to explore London...

Only stayed 1 night as a birthday treat, but wouldn't have minded staying longer! A major plus point for this hotel is that you can enter straight from within Victoria Station. The Grosvenor Hotel is beautiful and with absolutely wonderful helpful staff. Stayed in a Deluxe Double Room which wasn't overly spacious but was adequate enough. The room itself was...

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post following your birthday stay with us. We too wish you could have stayed longer at our beautiful hotel. All of our bedrooms should be equipped with hairdryers which are located in one of the bedside drawers - I am sorry that this was not the case in your situation and we were not made...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
