The Royal Foundation of St Katharine is a charitable foundation which sits within, yet apart from, the heart of London’s East End. Just minutes from the City and Canary Wharf, our comfortable accommodation offers a secure and relaxing environment and an unparalleled sense of peaceful seclusion. We invite you to explore St Katharine’s and to discover what you may find in this hidden oasis. Simple, comfortable, and all with en-suite facilities, our recently refurbished bedrooms are available both to individuals and members of groups at St Katharine’s. For a long stay or short, take advantage of our proximity to central London, our excellent transport links, and the unrivaled calm you will find here. Our quiet garden and serene chapel are open to all our guests and provide a welcome contrast to the hustle of a day in the capital. We have recently opened St Katharine's Precinct adjacent to our main site. This includes the only Yurt Cafe in London serving freshly prepared breakfast, Lunch and craft coffee 9am - 5pm daily.

Quiet, spotlessly clean room and en suite. Clean white bedding and decent towels. Best continental breakfast-plentiful and very good quality. Surroundings are obviously well loved and cared for. Lovely fire in the comfortable well furnished lounge. The gardens are like a little

We could not have been more delighted with our experience at St Katharine's. We were able to park our car on site, and use the DLR to travel to the exhibitions we planned to visit. It was lovely to retreat to the tranquility of this amazing place; our room and breakfast were

This facility has much to recommend it but in the end it did not suit my particular needs as a remote worker. On arrival when I tried to log in to the wifi system both of my devices (new Mac Air computer, iPhone) gave warnings about the insecurity of the system with two

Dear Jane, Thank you for taking the time to write your detailed and comprehensive feedback. I am sorry that your stay was not to the standards we expect for all our guests. Clearly the WiFi has had a large impact on this, and I would just like to address a couple of points you made. As you say our WiFi is public, as it is for all our guests to use. Therefore your devices may have warned you of this when logging in, however this should not have impacted your ability to connect to it, and our guest services team are trained in helping guests with technical issues such as this. I am sorry that you were not able to connect as easily as we would anticipate for our guests. You mention that you were required to login into our WiFi every 24 hours during your stay. This is not something that has been raised as an issue before, but we will discuss with our IT team, to see if this is something that can be extended to avoid unnecessary delay in access to our internet. I would also just like also to point out that as we have dedicated leased line here at the foundation, our WiFi is often highly reviewed as being very fast in comparison to the majority of hotel WiFi networks, and so ideally suited for the remote worker. Despite these issues with the WiFi system it seems that overall you did have an enjoyable stay with us, with many positives. I would like to ask you to consider staying with us again for future stays in London. If you have any further questions, comments or if you wish to stay with us again, please do contact me directly on tom@rfsk.org.uk. Kind regards, Tom Head of Guest Services & Events

Peaceful oasis, excellent communal areas, and quiet space of stunning chapel. very near DLR. The room was OK, ensuite fine, but this overlooked the road so was noisy- this shattered illusions of peace. An excellent breakfast is served, high quality. Some staff however, for a

Dear Amzeed, Thank you for your good feedback following your recent stay. We are pleased that you had an enjoyable stay with us and appreciated our chapel, communal lounge, conservatory, library and garden. We are sorry that you found your room to be not as peaceful as you would have liked. Unfortunately being located in a central London location external noises can be heard at times, despite having triple glazing in all of our rooms that face away from the garden. Our most peaceful rooms are our garden facing ones, these can be specifically booked on our website. I am sorry and surprised to hear that you felt the staff lacked politeness. The customer service of our staff is something that we often get very highly reviewed on and is a key part of our ethos. This is certainly something that we will look into carefully. I hope that you will be back to stay with us again in the near future. Kind regards, Tom Head of Guest Services & Events Get a 5% discount when you sue the code 'STK5' on our website.

I have reviewed this hostel after having stayed there - I am not an employee and cannot possibly comment on what they will or will not do - I would suggest that you cantact them directly via their website or even by simply telephoning them They are very helpful people and may be able to do your porridge thing for you.

Yes definitely, they would be able to help with this, like the previously suggested, email reservations team and I'm sure they can make some arrangements for you. Excellent customer service and staff are always happy to help.

CarolynRae, We are just a two minute walk away from Limehouse DLR station in zone 2. You can plan your journey on Transport for London website. Alternatively send us an email and we will be happy to help with route planning, and any other questions you may have. There are a number of dry cleaners and launderettes within walking distance. We can advise during your stay. Tom
