We stayed here for 7 nights in February and enjoyed our stay. We are Americans and are used to some amenities that this hotel did not offer, but we managed. We would have preferred a bit more room to walk around, but it was only...More
Have stayed before and returned for another one night London Theatre trip. Ok it is only average- but clean, warm and with a comfy bed. Having parking makes it in an ideal location for us-not far form the end of the M1 and walking distance...More
Don't let the facade fool you - this old concrete creation is a little gem - OK its not the Ritz but nor are its prices. Rooms are clean and refurbished to a decent standard, comfy beds, clean linen, free wifi and a good Flat...More
The hotel is in a great location, really nice neighbourhood. The decor is shabby and tired, especially in the halls and landings and the lift. Our room was spotless if a little small, the bathroom again was spotless. The one thing that really stood out...More

You can get the Heathrow express to the central London station (cant remember which one it is) and connect by tube (subway) to Finchley Road station or vice versa, if you are fit. Or you could get the tube all the way to the centre and change to the Jubilee Line for Finchley Road tube station or vice versa. It is definitely worth getting an Oyster card for public transport as it will make travel a bit cheaper. Depends how long you will be in London for. It might be harder if you have bags and are older/disabled and you might need a taxi for the end bits. Buses also go very nearby along Finchley Road.
