1.You truly cannot beat the location of these serviced apartments! We have stayed here for many many years - and thought it may be time for a change.....but, after looking at other places, we just couldn't do it because not much else in this range can offer such convenience for exploring London. It's so close to the buzz of Kensington,...

Stayed in #3, the one bedroom apartment. Very clean, staff was lovely, great location. Did our grocery shopping at Whole Foods and Marks and Spencer, just around the corner. Ate one meal out during the day and had sandwiches and snacks in the room, which was a great savings. Liked the heated floor and towel rack in the bathroom. Never...

This is our third stay at this hotel. Previously, we stayed in Flat No. 3 - a One Bedroom Superior. The Living room, kitchen and bathroom were quite good - very clean and well kept. The bedroom was tiny - barely enough room for the bed and chest of drawers. Closet was in the living room. Nevertheless, we were quite...

Dear Guest, Thank you for writing and letting us know of your experience. Unfortunately apartment 11 does not have direct elevator access and we do make sure our guests are aware of that at the time of booking. It is on the 4th floor and elevators go up to the 3rd. If this was not made clear to you I...

Overall, 51 Kensington Court is an excellent accommodation option for London. We were two couples travelling together and stayed in a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment (number 8). Pros: Brilliant location Decent amount of living space Very clean Helpful, pleasant staff Very quiet Cons: Furniture a bit dated Second bedroom has two single beds and is quite small If you...

My family stayed at #1 flat. It was a 2 bedroom and one bath flat in the basement flat. It was a quiet flat. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. I would definitely return to 51 Kensington. By the way, if safety is your issue. The Iranian consulate is next door. There is a policeman oon duty 24 hours...

Usually stay in tiny London hotels with miniature beds and no space to breathe. The suite at Kensington Court made a huge difference - a proper size bed, space to walk around, a decent bathroom and a spotless and well equipped kitchen. If you are a couple or even travelling solo and value some breathing space then I recommend '51'...

We had a family suite with two bedroooms (both very small) with large living/dining area and fully appointed kitchen, one bathroom. We were disappointed that our unit was below the ground floor, but it had a small enclosed garden and it was still pleasant and very clean. Hotel is next door to the Iranian embassy. We watched women whip out...

We stayed there for 7 nights from the end of June to start of July. It is the best location, I lived in London for 2 yrs if only it was here, the apartment was clean, and enough for 3 adults. The staff where brilliant always willing to help. There are not many apartments with daily housekeeping which was of...

We initially chose 51 KC after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We stayed in Apartment 7 (Studio Apartment). It was more spacious than expected with plenty of room to move and plenty of storage space - wardrobe, cupboards, side tables and storage for suitcases. While the kitchen was very 'compact' (really only room for one person at a time- but...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and thought it was great. We have stayed in many places in London but will definitely make this our place to stay in the future. The apartment is as large as you would expect for the location. All fully furnished rooms but obviously in central London things are not massive - this applies...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
