Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Definitely one of the better Travelodge's I have visited - modern, clean and staff, (particularly Tara Cook), are friendly and accommodating, quite a distance from centre of London on a tube, (30/45 minutes), but if you plan day from morning until evening it shouldn't be an issue, if you are looking for somewhere to get your head down on a night for a reasonable price and a bar to enjoy a pint after you have walked your legs off around the city this isn't a bad shout

The hotel has been recently refurbished with modern amenities. Fantastic location with tube/railway/tram only 5 mins away. Lots of buses also available at Wimbelon statio. Hotel Very clean. Staff will change towels/ empty bins and refill teas upon request. Rooms are only cleaned every 5 days. Wifi is £3/day which is a pain. Would recommend getting a good UK sim plan if you are visiting to hotspot your devices. You do get 30mins free WiFi/day so you can download any Netflix. Overall a pleasant stay. Would have been nice to have a fridge.

We arrived at 11pm. We had booked a double bedroom but it was no longer available. Instead, the reception staff allocated us an accessible room which was clean, comfortable and quiet. In the morning the unlimited breakfast was delicious. Freshly cooked and a great selection of fruit salad and yogurt. There was one excellent member of staff- Shaida. She checked us in and then was at breakfast working hard to ensure we had everything we needed. Smiling, friendly and welcoming - she made our stay. Thank you ☺️

Had a single overnight stay after a business meeting nearby, and chosen because of its close proximity to the station. Friendly staff; clean, comfortable and quiet hotel. Bathrooms in Travelodge can be 'cosy', but the shower was the best ever!

Stayed here for 1 night with my daughter in a family super room when we needed to be up in London in the evening. Parked at the Morrisons Car Park across the street on Hatfield Road (£1 per 30 minutes from 08.00 to 11.00) and then walked a few minutes to the hotel. Hotel is easy to find and is modern. Staff were very polite and an excellent help at all times. We stayed on the 7th floor and had amazing skyline views. Room was a good size for 2 of us with a double bed and 2 singles made up. Very little noise. We went out in the evening via Wimbledon station which was only 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was great with a wide selection of both freshly made hot and cold buffet items. Hotel is basic as you would expect but good value for money. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Room was exceptionally clean and honestly exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and very helpful and helped me with everything I needed. Sophia was amazing and went the extra mile during my stay. The restaurant was clean and my favourite part about the stay was the delicious cappuccino and late.
