Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.

We stayed in one room as a family of 5. The room was really clean and the staff were lovely. The only downside was not having an en-suite but the bathroom for the room wasn’t far and was only accessible to us. We went to The Victoria Theatre to watch Hamilton and this hotel was

I've initially booked 3 nights at the Blades Hotel. I've booked the single room and requested for earlier check-in if possible as my flight arrives at 7am. The staff responded back right away by email, and although they cannot promise an early check-in, they will try their

My partner and I booked two nights at the Blades hotel for a theatre/weekend break. We are grateful that the manager/receptionist let us check-in early. Our room was on the 3rd or 4th floor; this wasn't an issue for us but I wouldn't recommend for travellers who struggle with

Many thanks for your enquiry and if you wish to come by tube, the cheapest way to travel in London is using an Oyster Card which is a contactless card that you have to tap in and off of the tube and offer you better value that the day travel card. To rent an Oyster Card, you can ask at the tube station assistance at Heathrow Terminal and there is GBP5.00 deposit which you can have back when you leave along with the residual in you card. You can just charge for pay as you go to use the capping. Capping is a feature of pay as you go which allows you to make a number of journeys in a single day but limits the amount you pay for your travel. Each time you make a journey, you are charged a fare. Once the total cost of all your fares reaches a certain amount you won't have to pay for any more journeys for the rest of the day. This is called a cap and the cost is GBP8.80 for zone 1-6 (as you are at Heathrow). From Heathrow then you can take the Piccadilly Line (blue line) and change at Green Park for the Victoria Line (light blue line) and stop at Pimlico for a journey of 40-45 mins roughly.
