Visited London for 2 days for my daughter's 18th Birthday. The hotel room was tidy and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they even held our bags after we checked out so we could continue site seeing and then come back for them later. I would definitely stay here again - Great Location - The staff make this...

If you're looking for economical lodgings in a good location, Blades Hotel is a great choice. If you are put off by small rooms or having to carry your suitcase up three flights of stairs, then this isn't the hotel for you. For our family, Blades was perfect. Great location, clean and pleasant room, tasty breakfast included, all at a...

Just stayed the one night, met with excellent service all round. Not one for reviews but just felt obliged to thrash out a quick thanks to the Blades Hotel. The room was clean, tidy and very much fit for purpose. The lady on duty was very polite and very helpful and I would defo stay there again. Cheers

Slightly tired appearence but it is clean, has friendly staff and a convenient location. The room was small but adequately equipped and breakfast was limited to continental only but plenty of it. While nothing was spectacular, everything was acceptable and fully worth the price. Would stay again.

We thank this guest for the very nice review and we are very surprised to hear that he had the impression that our hotel's appearance is tired. We are a small budget, Victorian, Town House hotel in the best sight-seeing location of London and our rooms are actually generous in size for our type of hotel and price, and we...

Warm welcome from staff. Room small but comfortable. Be aware there are lots of stairs and no lift and ask for 1st floor if you feel stairs are a problem. Close to tube and shops. Continental breakfast good

My husband and I visited London for 3 days in July last year. The hotel is in a central location, so close to everything. It is in a really nice, peaceful area, and I loved that it was located in a residential area so you see people going to work in the morning, taking their kids to kindergarden, just an...

In Pimlico where things cost an arm and a leg this hotel breaks the trend! Simple rooms with all you need in them. Breakfast is a little bland but the staff are the most helpful and kind you could wish for. Excellent value for money and will stay again

I came across this hotel when considering booking at a hostel a few doors down. This had a similar rate, but with a bathroom in the room. The room is incredibly small (standard european), but in the 4 nights I was in London, I was only in the room to shower and sleep, so the size didn't bother me. All...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
