I travel a lot both in and out of the UK. When I can I stay in serviced apartments rather than hotels (particularly in the UK). I have now stayed four times at the King's Wardrobe and it is the best I have stayed in. The quality of the original fittings and furniture is very high but, more especially, the...

I stayed there for one night before taking transfer to another of Bridgestreet's property due to proximity to my office. The property is old but maintained. It is near to tube station and has a big Church nearby. Good for business travel.

We spent a week at this property just off St. Paul's Cathedral. What a sad place! The location is the only really good thing about it. We had a two bedrooms apartment decorated with the cheapest ever furniture. The wardrobes were literally falling apart, they were worn out and rather horrible. The lights were dim and sparse. The bathtub in...

We stayed here only for 2 nights, fantastic place for a decent price. Two bedroom apartment was what we had booked. The apartment was well equipped, we had some problems working the washing machine and dryer though - required help from the staff a few times before we could work it out, but in the end still didn't get the...

Reasons for staying here: - great location. Close to St.pauls cathedral and the underground. - Pubs, shops and supermarkets just around the corner. - big appartments with everything you'll need. - Nice and uncomplicated staff! Not any bad comments about this place at all! Try it!

I stayed at the King’s wardrobe in a 1-bedroom apartment for several months this year on a work assignment, and would highly recommend it for those who are looking for centrally located accommodation in London for a few days or longer. As mentioned in many other reviews, the kitchens are well equipped for everything you need to cook meals as...

We stayed here for three nights just before Christmas. In short summary we got an apartment in the City (near St Paul's) for the price of an indifferent hotel, with a better than averagely equipped kitchen, a good sized living room and a separate bedroom and bathroom. The decor was neutral and a little tired in places but absolutely fine....

The good- nice courtyard, good location away from the majority of the maddening crowds (but a fair walk for a tube), kitchen was nice and well equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, hob and oven/microwave. Two bathrooms, 2 bedrooms (one en-suite with shower the other a family one with a large bath), laundry facilities. Nearby M&S St Paul's, chippy, cafe rouge etc....

Got an apartment for 2. Everything is nice and clean. Only things are : *only a shower *bed giving you back pain * bed linen in feather so if you are allergic there is no other way (they don't have synthetic linnen)

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
