I needed a place to stay for two nights because of an unexpected problem in my house. Found this place close by and it had a vacancy and took me in at 2AM. I walked in and had a room on the top floor; it was a single room and quite small (maybe a total of 7-8sqm including the bathroom). The bed and the floor were very creaky and I was awakened during the night because I could hear the people in the next room talking or walking around; this wasn’t a problem really. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the hot water In the shower to work, but I can’t really complain about this since I didn’t ask about this or didn’t make the staff aware of it. It was fine overall and what I needed at the time. Comfortable bed. Kettle with variety of teas in the room. Large window with a view. Breakfast was fine but included too many Mr Kiplin sweet cakes in my opinion. It was overall fine.

Down in London for a lecture in Town, Wanted a good value bed for the night before early return to the North next morning. This ticked the boxes - not too far out; basic accommodation with en-suite anad coffee/tea plus TV facilities. Decor slightly tired.

Booked a family room at short notice ahead of bank holiday weekend. Price was great value. Especially as a good variety of breakfast was included. The room was just ideal. The children had a private annexe off our room giving them some privacy. Wifi was strong. Shower and toilet was clean with plenty of towels provided. Great value and ideal for a no nonsense family sightseeing trip round London (5 min walk from Paddington)

The hotel we booked informed us when we came that we would be staying in this hotel. The room that we got was in the basement with a storage/workshop outside the window, a staff member was there every morning listening to radio and smoking so we had no privacy. The sound isolation is non existent so we could hear noise from inside and outside of the hotel. The room did not smell nice and had mold and water damage. They offer breakfast but it is very poor. Receptionist that was working during weekend, in the evening and night, was not pleasant and did not take it seriously when we called that someone was trying to enter our room in the middle of the night. Other staff members were friendly and helpful and location is good, but that is not enough to stay here

Parking only available for 2 cars. Room decor/facilities are outdated. Bathroom water overflow. Rooms aren't sound proof so can hear noise from outside & the floor above. Not suitable if you have young children.
