For central London, I considered it good value for an overnight stay. I had quite a very quiet in quite a small room, which would have been a problem if I had not been alone. However it was clean, warm, had a comfortable bed, TV plus tea/coffee facilities, so fine. The bathroom was VERY small and very cold, with a... More

I couldn't argue that the price was competitive (£68 for north/central London). However, the room reeked of cigarette smoke (advertised as a non smoking room). The room was very small and creaky but the bed was fairly comfortable The safe did not work. While it was not ideal to have a shared bathroom, the bathroom was actually the most pleasant... More

The location of this hotel was ideal for my trip to London, being equidistant from Euston, Kings Cross/St Pancras and Russell Square. I was concerned as travelling alone as to whether I should have gone to a chain hotel such as Holiday Inn or Premier Inn, I wish I had. It got off to a good start as I wanted... More

As a first time traveler to London, we had to research a lot to find hotels to stay. We wanted to stay in a hotel which was in good locality and near to all modes of transport. So we decided to go with George Hotel. This hotel is really good location with easy access to Bus stops, Tube station. It... More

Stayed one night very cosy room but well decorated and clean. Good value and will stay again. Stairs are very steep especially going up to third floor and there is no lift so keep this in mind I you have lots of luggage and ring ahead to book a room on ground or first floor

We were staying for one night in a twin room on floor number 1, great location pretty close to everything and only a short walk to Euston station! Really clean and modern hotel, shower was great, bathroom was clean no issues. Beds were comfy, tv worked fine and wifi was included, no problem with these. Breakfast was included to and... More

I thankfully only stayed the one night. Room was in the basement, next to Maintenance. It was down a precarious flight of stairs, with carpet loose on one tread! The door of the room was neither safety nor security inspiring. The room was 1970's shades of beige, tan, taupe n brown. Dark, dingy, dated and stale. The fact that the... More

Rooms are small but cozy and clean. The stairs are dangerously steep. The staff is nice and helpful. The sanitary installations are well for british standards, but archaic for me as a swiss. The staff in the restaurant is quick and nice. The food is good british standard. I can recomend the hotel, the price performance is excellent. The location... More

Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
