The Bluedaws is a basic hotel and not fancy at all. I didn't mind the stairs and I didn't mind the unreliable internet. My room was clean, had an ensuite bathroom (I paid extra and it was still cheaper than any other hotel I could find on the same street) and the management was absolutely wonderful. Since I just needed... More

This hotel should only be chosen if one is truly trying to save on accommodation. The location is fairly good, with the Paddington station only five minutes away. Other than the location and the price, this hotel doesn't have a lot going for it. The wifi barely worked in the rooms, the beds were creaky and some of the windows... More

You'll be dragging your suitcase to several flights of stairs and its a small smelly hotel and the prices have increased on it since the last year and its uncomfortable. They serve a light breakfast with the price but they've no lifts in the place. You'll be exhausted before you reach the top of the stairway. They unfortunately sold their... More

I can't believe these comments written here. The hotel was absolutely horrible. Beds were broken, people fell trough them, dirty sheets. Also there are very little bathroom facilities. The breakfast was uneatable. Wouldn't sleep here again if they paid me for it. The one star is for the location and the sweet Asain lady. I have absolutely nothing nice to... More

I stayed there with my class. The rooms are simple but clean. The breakfast is better than in the usual hostels. Good coffee and fresh bacon and eggs as well as the usual toast and jam. We even got the rooms with a balcony - but the students were not allowed to use them - the other guests were outside... More

I have stayed here a few times and have enjoyed each stay. The hotel is as described, very central close to everything and very good value for money. The staff are very welcoming and nice. Breakfast and rooms are spot on for a budget stay. Well worth a visit if you are a student or are on a tight budget!

This place is fantastic value. Located a stones throw from Paddington station and a short walk from Hyde Park and Oxford St. The accommodation is basic, but we never spend time sat in a hotel, so would rather save our money for seeing/doing other things. Sharing a bathroom is not a problem as they are clean and located through out... More

It is the 3rd time I stay at this hotel, it is not a luxurious hotel in any way, but for its price it doesn't disappoint. I would really recommend this hotel if you are on a budget, are not staying very long in London and want to see as much as possible. This time we stayed in the first... More

I cannot understand how this vile place got the title of Hotel ! Carpets threadbare, beds crammed into the room ( 4 beds in our room - a double and single so close you couldn't walk between them with another single butted up to the bottom of the double !!). All the beds had ripped sides, bedding .... well what... More

Stayed here, yes good rate for London but hated it, asked for a ground floor room and got rooms up 4 flights of stairs, no tv, no tea or coffee, breakfast was terrible, housekeeping staff all sitting outside my room all saying hurry up..... Just hated my entire stay there, but lovely cat that they have there makes it more... More
