The hotel is in a very convenient location close to St Pancras and within walking distance of Euston. It is competitively priced for London. On this occasion, our room was in the basement and was rather dark and claustrophobic, we've had nicer rooms on previous...More

The hotel is OK, good location but be careful before booking, avoid any small room. We were in room 503, this room is to be avoided too small and impossible to make it dark as it has a window in the roof. Incredibly small.

Stayed here for 1 night & it was very good. Small room but practical . Loved decor Hotel, service & breakfast. All good quality features often not found in more expensive hotels. Would use again for 1 nighter. But need more space if staying longer.

This hotel almost looks normal from the outside but the true magic begins inside. The reception had me mesmerised with a quirky design and the room was perfect. I fully recommend this hotel for all factors; it’s location, sleep quality and professionalism from staff.More

The California is a charming, modern and quirky bed and breakfast, less than a minute's walk away from King's Cross and St. Pancras stations. Our 60 stylishly refurbished rooms, each one cosy and More comfortable, are spread over four Georgian townhouses, and we've retained as much of the original architecture as possible; our windows, corridors and staircases are all original. This means that we don't have a lift, but we do keep our reception open 24 hours a day. We have high speed WiFi is throughout the hotel and have a fantastic little bar, lounge and private terrace for our guests to enjoy. We serve a great breakfast, and this is complimentary when you book directly with us, on our website or over the phone. Welcome to The California London. Visit anytime, explore every time. Less
