Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was staying here for a conference at the ExCel, me and one of my coworkers booked a suite each with one bedroom, for each other for one night. We arrived, check-in was lovely and people were very friendly. And it was about 10-15 minute walk from the Jubilee line. I was told to go to a separate part of the hotel that was on a lower floor, at this point I realized that I'd been given an upgrade and I got an amazing surprise as my suite was a LOT larger than I realized and had two bathrooms and bedrooms! It was absolutely wonderful, and I still wish that I had an excuse to stay here for more than one night. The view even from lower floors was wonderful.

Our second stay. The room is spacious and has a mini kitchen. All very clean, towels fluffy, shower excellent. Car park very convenient. Only short interactions with stahl, but efficient and done with a smile. Will come again.

3 night stay for business purpose Very very noisy. Don’t book room on the street. Persistant traffic noise. Market starting at 4am and lot of construction work in the area Sub average quality: Room was not cleaned every day. Temperature is too hot with no possibility to open the window (external noise) and airco is too noisy as well. Breakfast : no fresh product Poor experience. Not worth the money

We booked this apartment, mainly because of the price. A 2 bedroom apartment would've been better for us, but it was not available. There is a small lounge downstairs, we never used breakfast there, the staff were friendly, 5 min. walk to Waitrose, Boots etc, you can continue on to the underground malls, easy access to DLR, Elisabeth line (20 min. to city centre) and subway station Canary wharf. Lots of dining options nearby. In the evening during weekdays it was nice as there are no crowds in this area compared to the city centre. Our apartment was for 4 people on the 4th floor, opposite the market and not soundproof as we could hear all the street noise as if the windows were open, so needed earplugs. Aircon works well, but it kept making noises if you turn it off. The sofabed squeaks a lot. The furniture is old and worn. At first look it seems clean, there is a good size kitchen and OK size bedroom with a safe, size was good compared to the seating area (which you lose when the sofabed is folded out) and small bathroom (really small sink, toilet cramped next to it with the tp-roll hanging almost over the toilet bowl. They didn't have enought hooks for 4 person towels and jackets, so we used the drying rack we found. They had clean sheets and towels (no face cloths). Kitchen has no tea/handtowels/paper, so we bought it ourselves, the rest about 80% complete for 4 persons. There was a small table with 4 chairs. We stayed 6 nights and housekeeping never came to our room. Floor seemed clean, but upon close inspection there were dirty spots on the furniture, stained carpet, mouldy bathroom corners, flaky paint, 2 broken lamps that never got fixed (even after we had a maintenance ticket made at reception). The corridor was smelly, but wasn't a problem once we were in the room. So OK for us to stay once, because of the price, but if these apartments don't get an update, we won't be visiting again.

Thank you for your feedback, and pleased to see that you think we are good value, but we do take on board areas we need to improve to make your next stay worth considering. The aircon does for around 30min after you turn it off makes a sound while it pumps the water away. We are addressing the issues you have raised here to ensure they the next guest to this apartment is not experiencing these, and we are truly sorry we missed the repair for 2 of your lights while staying here, both are now rectified. We hope to welcome you back to stay in one of our two bedroom apartments which will suit your family better.

The noise from the market was terrible. After 3 nights we asked to be moved. They agreed to move us to the other side but we had to pay an extra £100. That was a good deal he told us. Normally he would charge £120! (He did acknowledge that our room was known to be a noisy room). Our next room had noise from the building site that started at 8am everyday. The portable AC unit was incredibly noisy as well and impossible to turn down. The blinds didn’t fit the window, (lots of night lights). The bathroom was very hot, as the fan was useless. We stayed here for 13 nights and paid more than £3000. I definitely did not get value for money. When we moved I left a makeup mirror behind on the window sill. I asked several times for it back but never got an answer or apology. Our room was cleaned once and the rest of the time we had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. ! This is an expensive hotel and 4 star rating! Do not stay here if you want a relaxing holiday.

We have stayed here in the past nice and easy for access to the city plus parking on site. However on this occasion our room was completely surrounded by building works so be aware. This starts at 7:30am and doesn’t stop until 6pm. There was so much noise you can’t use the balcony with out hearing the pole driver, banging and constant beeping. It’s such a shame as it spoilt our stay.

Thank you for being a loyal customer, staying with us multiple times. We are sorry to learn your stay were spoilt by the development near us by Canary Wharf Group, and they were very noise at times over the summer due pilling works which they have now completed. There is still building works taking place, but it is not so noisy now in August. We hope to welcome you back again soon.

Towel rack is a burner - literally - be super careful - reported the case and nothing - in the US you would sue the hotel chain - staff helped with burn cream but were not well prepared - don’t leave your children in the bathroom alone - extremely Dangerous

Room set up incorrectly, which they corrected, but then left dirt where the sofabed had been covering it. Room 509, one socket not working in the kitchen. Grouting needs cleaning in the bathrooms. That said, the beds are comfortable, the shower is good, and the towels large and soft. There is plentiful free tea and coffee from the relaxation area by reception.
