Arlington House is amazing. The location is superb, walking distance from all the central places in London (Picadilly circus, Covent Garden, Leicester … etc.). It is always walking distance from London’s best restaurants Novikov and Sexy Fish to name a few. The apartments are spacious (rare in London) and they also have water bidets in the bathrooms which is a huge advantage to anyone from Middle Eastern roots. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and were supportive of all our requests. Our favorite place in London without a doubt.

My first stay at the Arlington House and I do feel it will be my most preferred choice of stay hereafter.

We arrived at 9 am from Singapore and were given a room immediately although check in wasn’t still 3 pm. The apartments are massive and so well furnished, it feels like home. We stayed in the one bedroom superior. The design and layout of the apartment gives a lot of privacy and space to work when travelling as a couple. The location is outstanding with green park tune about a 100 metres away. I love my morning walks, so loved the fact that I had access to Green Park, St James Park and the Hyde Park within 10 minutes.

The manager is really helpful and all the concierges extremely courteous at all times. I will highly recommend this over any other hotel I’ve stayed in at London! The apartment is exactly as is seen in the pictures on the website if not better! Try well renovated, and very classily furnished. Also the bathrooms are simply fantastic, great showers and water pressure.

This is a 7 star by all standards

The property was wonderful all round. The quality of the furnishings, bed linen, towels et was excellent and the apartment was spotlessly clean. The location was very central for everything we wanted to do. We booked at the very last minute as our previous booking elsewhere was cancelled and although an extra bed for a child was offered I was worried that it might not be possible to arrange at such short notice - booking Saturday afternoon for arrival Sunday. I needn’t have worried, not only did we have an extra bed but we had been upgraded to an apartment with an additional s all bedroom, perfect for our 10 year old granddaughter. The views over Green Park were lovely too.bathe service from the staff was outstanding. They were there to open the door on our arrival and couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, helping with our luggage, booking taxis and providing umbrellas on the afternoon it drizzled. There was a problem with a bedside light and a member of the reception staff came to look at it immediately ( being Sunday there wasn’t a maintenance person on duty). Cleaning staff visited the apartment to ask what we needed doing- nothing we were only there two nights but it was really good to be offered the service. We were also able to store our luggage o the morning of our departure whilst we visited the IWM. All round an outstanding place to stay.

Arrived reception moaned no one could operate the the door, took £100 deposit we were not aware of that gave us the room number, we walked in and it had NOT been cleaned (used tissues on bed that was not made, guests before us rubbish, just omg. I went down to reception who did not belive us until they rang house keeping so were told to enjoy ourselves whist they cleaned the room. We did go out and walk around until 7pm and just wanted to rest with some tv which was not working, took me twice to complain on both occasions reception saying no maintenance finally after having to go down again the reception {general manager} spent two hours trying to fix a 30inch tv and at 10.30pm we were moved not the best start at all. location is great but even when we were moved to a one bed apartment it just lacks care just imagine your house needs to be redecorated plus the dishwasher could not even be put down fully as the design of the kitchen did not allow this. we spent most of our time out of the apartment. i will stress location is great, right next to the ritz, the palace just 3 mins away and green park tube just a 2 min walk away but it needs updating less moaning from reception on a Saturday and not caring things are not right in the apartment. Got a deal but cost us one day for them to sort things so not a deal at all.

Response from Liam Ryan, General Manager at Arlington House
Responded 27 Jun 2023
Thank you for sharing your comments with us on your recent stay here at Arlington House Apartments. I am indeed very disappointed to read about your experience. Please do accept my apologies for this. We have spoken and communicated about this via phone and email. This was an error regarding the allocation of the apartment unfortunately one of front desk colleagues did admit he made a mistake with the allocation and I am indeed very sorry about that. Its unfortunate you then had an issue with the television I agree. I can understand putting the issues together would indeed be upsetting. Once again my apologies for this . If I can be of any further assistance then please do not hesitate to contact me. Liam Ryan GENERAL MANAGER

This review is about Flat 15 . There is supposed to be in theory a Concierge but we never saw hide nor hair of him. The Reception was by and large very poor and not helpful at all. The Deputy reception Manager turned up on the last day - we stayed for 8 days - when we were leaving and seemed helpful but where was he most of the time? Many in the Reception were actually biting. One of them when asked regarding supplies of soap for the washing machine said you have to ask house keeping and they may or may not give it .When asked what the extension of House keeping was, he said you cant call House Keeping, you ask us and we ask them .
Three different persons gave us the wrong password for the wi fi. The Reception said soap for the dishwasher may or may not be forthcoming after the first day s supply. The same was what they said about the tea and coffee making facilities - tea bags, mil, sugar, even salt. We had to go and buy our own supply of sugar which we left behind.
In contrast, all the housekeeping were very helpful and gave us capsules, pellets for the dishwasher, laundry , besides the sugar, salt etc
The location is very good and the apartment is nicely furnished

These apartments are expensive but in exchange you get a spacious place to stay with all amenities: washer-dryer, dishwasher, good kitchen, spacious rooms, etc. Within walking distance of the theatres and museums. Highly recommendable.

The location is great for business and the level of service is friendly, competent and just on the right level focused on functionality and things running smoothly without any friction. The rooms are clean and furnished with a bit older but more than OK furniture. Most importantly beds are good. Having access to a kitchen and a fridge to buy your own food is a strong plus for us who have had enough of restaurants. This concept is how value for money is offered to its guests. If you want to boost your ego beyond value for money you should check in at the Ritz around the corner.

Arlington house apartments beat our expectations across all categories! We were really not hoping for much, except a spacious apartment as we were traveling as a family of 3 adults and 2 kids below 8.

We booked a renovated room, Apt 29, deluxe two bedroom apartment. Its all brand new, and very well kept. Linen, furnishings, carpet- all on point. I am particular on bathrooms, and these did not disappoint! Immaculate and clean! Its like staying in a lavish apartment in central London. The apartment was super spacious, the master bedroom a dream. The kitchen even had heated flooring.

This place is not a compromise for not staying in a hotel , except maybe for in room dining. We ate around the hotel, the location is superb, walking to all the main central areas of London and heaps of restaurants around. All the best known restaurants are a short walk away. The Green park metro station is a 3 min walk. The location cant be beat. Its peaceful, yet bang in the city center. Located right next to Ritz carlton, and new Bond street, Mayfair, so all the high end restaurants, shops are literally a stones throw!

For really good flat whites, we walked to Shot London cafe, and all our grocery needs were met by Uber or M&S food which is literally across the street.

The staff were welcoming and always greeted us well. I can see why a lot of families prefer to stay here now.

We will definitely return!

Stayed in a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment & had a wonderful experience. The ground floor apartment was huge & had a great view of the property's beautifully manicured gardens. Green Park lay just beyond. Our apartment had two ensuite double rooms & an extra single room with another full bathroom (not ensuite). The living room was extremely spacious, with a large TV & dining table for 8. The kitchen was very well equipped with all modern gadgets & amenities, including a nespresso machine. Apartments were serviced five days a week (Mon-Fri). A 24 hour front desk provided efficient service. Green Park tube station, just a 3 minute walk away, is very well connected & affords easy convenience in getting around to almost any place in London. Overall an excellent stay that I would certainly recommend.

I rented two apartments for 45 days or so. The reception team is great, and the apartments spacious and comfortable. But in one apartment I had a leak from upstairs one Friday night which soiled the carpet in a main bedroom where my family was supposed to stay. They took care of the leak eventually but no one helped to dry the dirty carpet and bathroom until the 'one' cleaning day of the week. No apologies, no offer to move me to a different apartment. They didn't even have enough towel at hand during weekend to soak up the dirty water. I couldn't believe it. Also - the deposits for the rooms...I asked multiple times about it before my departure but the reception staff kept saying "don't worry, they'll refund your credit card"...one week later I still didn't get it back so I had to have my friend in London make a formal complaint to finally get it back. So beware of this kind of things. It's a shame because the staff is truly wonderful.
