I have been using the Acton Town Hotel for a few years. it is very basic and cheap but conveniently located for visiting family who live nearby. Previously, I found the staff to be friendly and helpful and the room was always clean with a generous supply of teas and coffees. However, on this occasion the staff were rude. The... More

The hotel is just around the corner from Acton Town stn. If you have an early flight to catch from Heathrow, this could be your pick for the night before. Otherwise far away from most tourist attractions. The rooms are very small and they do not have an elevator, so if you get one on the 2nd floor be prepared... More

Man oh man. What a hotel. Or is it an hotel? Never really certain which it is - it is a silent H, but an for every vowel. But don't let my poor grasp of vocab put you off this review, for here is the word on the Acton Hotel. We hadn't anticipated much less than the received service, yet... More

From the moment we stepped in to the lobby of the establishment, we knew we had chosen wisely, the reception staff were both awake, clothed and seemed pleased to have something to do. We had booked 3 twin rooms and were not disappointed, clearly a lot of time and effort has been put in to the latest refurb and although... More

Stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and it was a nice stay, but this time what a disappointment. Stayed in the main hotel building on the main road, the room was average but the shower had plaster coming off the wall and what looked like mould on the tiles. Breakfast you had to queue up for a... The only reason that I am giving this a one star is because the maid was sweet and offered to carry our luggage up the stairs. This hotel is close to the underground station and that is why my husband chose it. Right from the beginning, though, there were problems. The check-in lobby was tiny. They told us that there... This hotel seems to consist of several buildings. It is located very close to the Acton Town tube station, which is about halfway between central London and Heathrow Airport on the Piccadilly line. I chose it because of location and price, returning from up north in the evening and flying out the next morning. When I asked for a single... More

Can't really relate our experience to some of the other reviews here as we stayed in a room with two double beds and one single bed for one night whilst in London for a game at Wembley and it was perfectly acceptable. The hotel is mainly in a block behind the hotel seen on the main road, the room was... More

We arrived about 10:30 to find the place closed up. Ring the bell for the night Manager it said. I presume he was asleep or looking after another disgruntled customer. When we finally got his attention an hour later he showed us to our rooms. My work colleague who was staying in the room next door found the room so... More

Small, old, not clean, free parking and ok for an overnight stay, not more. The bathroom smells old and used. The staff is friendly , very short way to the underground train and into the city. It is cheaper than most of the other hotels. Usable for 1 night.
