I really loved this hotel as it was clean, reasonably priced for London and in an excellent location. I had a double bedroom with a shared toilet. The shower and sink were in the room. The toilet was at the end of the corridor. The room was clean and the beds comfy. The breakfast was nice and there was the...

my personal disclaimer... I am American and the majority of my travel has been in America. With that said, we just found this hotel to be cramped in every regard... the elevator was a 4-person elevator, however we (3 of us) couldn't figure out how to get into it all together. The hallways were just not wide enough to pass...

We found the room very small. Three people in a room with one double bed and one twin is too small. The restaurant attached only served East Indian Cuisine, not to my taste, so had to search the city block for restaurant that served Western foods.

I think I should have read other people's reviews more carefully prior to booking as I would not have gone ahead with the booking. Thank goodness it was only for one night! The location is a bonus and very close to Kings Cross and St Pancras. That is the only plus. As a family of two adults and two children...

Considering the prices of accommodation in London, we were very happy with the Hotel Montana. By no means luxurious, but it's clean, spacious and very central in King's Cross. Perfect for a 1 night stopover if travelling through.

We arrived at the hotel only to find out that the request we had written was ignored "ground floor or near lift one disabled client". We were given a basement room which was accessed by a very steep staircase. We immediately questioned the young man who was at the desk and pointed out our written request, he was unsure what...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
