Grand Plaza apartments give you the independence and catering flexibility of your own home together with the comfort and service of a 4* hotel. Think of us as your home, but with cleaning, catering, porters and reception staff thrown in. Serviced apartments are the new direction for the hotel industry. They provide a ready made home rather than a ready made room. Each apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen. You choose whether to enjoy your own home cooking or try the Grand Plaza Breakfast or visit one of the myriad of restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel (or heat up a takeaway!) Grand Plaza is the largest Hotel/Apartment complex in Bayswater. We won the 2009 award for best serviced apartments in London as a result of votes from the readers of Business Destinations Magazine. We accommodate more people each day (tourist, leisure, romantic and business) than any other Serviced Apartment Hotel in the area.We are located in the centre of the West End overlooking the precise type of garden square which Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts climbed into in the Golden Globe nominated film, Notting Hill! We look forward to providing you with a home in central London.

Grand Plaza Serviced Apartments generally receive praise for their clean, well-maintained rooms with comfortable beds, although opinions diverge when it comes to the size and modernity of the rooms, with some noting they appear outdated and occasionally carry odors. The hotel's location is a highlight, offering easy access to attractions and public transport, yet some guests suggest that service can be hit or miss, and additional costs for breakfast have caused some discontent. While the overall atmosphere could benefit from a refresh, the inclusion of kitchen facilities in the rooms is a value-added feature that many travelers appreciate.

We are a family of 4 that spent a week in a studio quad. This was the only room that would fit our family that was available at the time of booking, but it served our purposes well.

The good: amazing location with two underground stops within a few minutes, Kensington Gardens a stone's throw away and tons of restaurants, grocery stores and other assorted conveniences within walking distance. There is a Santander bike stand just outside the hotel and others within a couple of minutes walk. The small kitchenette was the main reason I booked this property. We had all of our breakfasts at the hotel, and cooked a few simple dinners as well (pasta, stirfries, etc). The kitchenette has a four burner stovetop, a sink, a small fridge (no freezer), a microwave and a kettle as well as plates, small bowls, mugs, glasses & wine glasses, two pots, a frying pan and assorted cutlery and cooking implements. Dish soap and one tea towel were provided. The built in fan over the stovetop worked well to keep smells out. Water was plentiful and always hot and we couldn't hear anything from adjoining rooms. Laundry service was a very reasonable 11 pounds for wash, dry and fold of quite a large load. All of the staff were professional, friendly and responsive. When we asked for anything (new towels, an extra pillow, a problem with the facilities) it was given immediately.

The less good - the main beds are on the hard side so if you prefer your mattress soft, be warned. Our kids found the pull out bed very uncomfortable and we ended up putting that mattress on the floor each night for better support for them. Pillows are flat as a pancake. Ventilation was from one window that only opened a few inches. The weather was perfect for this for us, but had it been warmer I suspect the room might have become uncomfortably hot. There was a ceiling fan in the room. Street noise is inevitable. Wash clothes/face flannels aren't given. The room was carpeted and so never felt completely clean. The internet is free but unreliable. Don't count on it for doing work. It usually worked for streaming, but not always.

Overall this was a very good base for our adventures in London. I would book this property again, though I would spring for the larger room if one was available in order to have real beds for the whole family.

The structure offers Serviced Apartments, apartments equipped with every comfort: sheets, towels, shampoo, hairdryer. Plus, by no means obvious, they're cleaned every day and stocked with clean linen. The location is great, close to 2 tubes, you can 'reach the center conveniently, but also London City Airport. It is great, only less positive note the Reception, not brilliant, not at all kind, except with credit cards. Not a welcome greeting, but not even a thank you when we left...

Staying in a Triple Studio on the second floor for a week. I stayed at Trafalgar until four years ago, but now I'm here because of the bubble punch of rising prices and a weak currency.
Fortunately, it's been cool in London this year, which is a relief. There is a cooler fan in the room. It's quiet with a forested park next to it. Although it's called an apartment, there is no toaster or dishwashing basket. There are two pots, one frying pan, one microwave, and two fobs, so I can just about cook my own meals. There are many supermarkets nearby, so I can arrange for ingredients.
I go to see musicals from here every night.
Trash is collected and towels are changed every day, and cleaning and sheets are changed every three days.

In my case, I am quite surprised by the negative opinions as we went to spend a week in London as a family (2 adult couples) and the experience was great. We were given an apartment with two double beds (one of them in a room and the other is true that in an area like living room). Both beds were comfortable (those in the main room were 2 single beds joined and one was softer than the other, but it was also no problem). The apartment had a bathroom of a suitable size (included hairdryer) and kitchen with all the necessary tools. They passed us cleaning the room every day and changed our towels whenever we required it.
The location is unbeatable, 5min walk from a street with plenty of atmosphere (cafeterias, supermarkets, restaurants...) and 2 metro stops very close that took us to all the most important points of the city. The connection was very good. Highly recommended.

This property is an excellent location and is a great price for a larger family needing space. The property is clean and comfortable and fit my family of 5 adults perfectly. We only used the room to sleep as there was so much to do in London! At the last minute, the front desk helped us arrange transportation to the airport after our other car was cancelled and we were in a hurry to get to the airport. It was great having a laundrette in the property that cleaned our clothes and returned them for a fair price. Overall, I will definitely stay at this property again!

London on of our dream place!
A gift from our family to spend 2 days there. Availabilities are not updated in a real time and you have to pay extra charge 60£ per night to get a room… fortunately they made a deal cheaper.
The chambermaid knocking for the service at 9am and making a face like angry when you ask to come back later… sorry if we want to sleep a bit more…
You pay 25£ per night for cleaning fees, even if they cleaned only once… how getting money easily!
Breakfast included, I ask the reception and breakfast team to prepare something to take away as we had to leave at 6am the day after, seemed like something really difficult and impossible. We got by our own 2 croissant the day before! Not friendly at all even greet seems difficult for the staff!

My grandson and I had a wonderful stay in room 204 at Grand Plaza Serviced Apartments. Because we landed early in the morning and arrived well before check-in time, we were able to put our luggage in the luggage room. Our request for two single beds was not guaranteed when booking, but we received a super upgrade upon arrival. A four-person apartment where a staircase led down to a separate bedroom and bathroom. Ideal for me. Such a luxury! We didn't expect that. We could look out onto the courtyard where the houses of the other streets also bordered. The facades of the surrounding houses look wonderfully opulent, but the rear facades are all very simple. The apartment is also simple, but a clean bed, a fresh bathroom and clean towels are all you need for a stay in a metropolis. The only thing we missed was a coat rack for coats/jackets.
We only used the kettle and the refrigerator in the kitchen, but there were pans, plates, glasses, cutlery for four people and a large ceramic hob. And a basket with tea, instant coffee bags and sugar.
The WiFi connection was generally very good.
The location close to the Bayswater and Queensway Underground stations, and the bus stop of line 70 was great for all the trips we made. There were plenty of restaurants nearby for a varied meal. For a simpler breakfast we got some sandwiches from Sainsbury Local on Queensway.
The staff was very friendly, some more than others.
Once again: we had a great stay at GPSA.

I am currently staying at this hotel with my husband and children 16&13 yrs old, for 5 nights in total and so far, we have found everything extremely to our liking.

We wanted a good sized hotel room that would comfortably fit our family and luggage, but since all our agent 's propositions were non refundable, we were sceptical about booking ahead. So we chose Grand Plaza about 36 hours before our plane departure and we are so grateful for it!

The studio is spacy (about 30 sm) and it has everything we need and hoped for. First of all, there are four single comfortable beds, so the kids don 't get to sleep in a double sofa, as in many other hotels with similar prices. That has made a huge difference on our trip, because we all get a good night 's sleep and manage to move around London literally all day, since there 's so much to see! There is also plenty of furniture for storage - a big closet and drawer plus two night stands.

The kitchen is fully equiped and has 4 electric stoves, a microwave, a boiler and a fridge. There is also a big kitchen table with 4 chairs.
Nescafe, tea, sugar etc portions are available and are replaced every day.

The bathroom is very spacious too, with a big, deep bathtub and enough room by the sink to place your toiletries. Steaming hot water available 24/7. Mini shampoos etc also available.

Cleaning is daily and absolutely immaculate. My warmest congratulations to the people in charge.
Towels are changed daily (if placed inside the tub).

The staff is friendly and helpful - they let us check in early (at 11.00, though checking in is normally at 14.30) and we felt very relieved, because we had had an exausting journey. There is also the ability to leave your luggage at the reception before check in/after check out.

The location is unbeatable - a couple of blocks over Hyde Park, it feels very safe and quiet, but next to everything: supermarkets, pharmacies, great restaurants, delis, pubs and cafes. With 2 tube stations at your front door (Queensway and Bayswater), it lacks for absolutely nothing.

All in all, I would gladly repeat my stay here and I highly recommend it.

The exterior of the hotel is quite attractive, and it is in a nice area. However unfortunately the interior lets it down. The lobby is okay, but the lift is small and the hallways are narrow. The room we stayed in was dated, felt a little dirty and had a musty smell. The bed felt old and uncomfortable, the fold out couch is in desperate need of a clean and the shower is also in need of an upgrade. The surface of the shower is slippery, and the differing levels between the bathroom floor and the shower floor make it dangerous to step over the lip of the bathtub, especially with a toddler.

The staff weren't very friendly at reception, and the taxi service they call for customers is overpriced and dodgy.

We required a taxi to the train station upon departure, and clearly stated to the reception that we were paying by card. When I went to pay, the driver attempted to refuse my card, saying the machine wasn't working. I stated that I specifically stated that I will be paying card, and heard the receptionist pass this info on. After a small back on forth, he pulled out a card payment machine and (surprise surprise) it worked just fine.

On a positive, the location of the hotel is beautiful and it is nearby to a great stretch of restaurants, shops, Tube stations and Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park.

Positive experience, clean apartments equipped with every comfort. Close to 2 tube stops (Bayswater and Queensway) as well as various supermarkets, restaurants and fast food outlets. Every day they put clean towels and supplied the missing things (coffee or tea and also bubble bath and shampoo). The only flaw is the slalom you have to do between the various corridors to get to the apartment. We had it on the 3rd floor and had to go through 8 doors and as many corridors to get to the room. However highly recommended. Excellent price quality.
