Do NOT book or trust this hotel-cancelled less than 24 hours before our arrival from Canada tomorrow morning, Insincere “apologies.. due to unforeseen circumstances”. We booked this months ago as our first stop of a three week celebratory student trip in Europe. Do yourself a favour and avoid last- minute panic. Hmmm, there is an FA Cup this weekend. They could probably charge a lot more for our rooms. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. Avoid at all costs.

Booked the Grantly hotel with Expedia got email 2 days before stay to say cancelled have spent all afternoon trying to get refund Expedia only have virtual assistants and no refund as they say hotel need to process refund and O Y O say Expedia had e mail to cancel so no refund put into dispute with my bank.... CUSTOMERS PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL AND EXPEDIA

After a long trip from the US I arrived to this hotel to found out that my prepaid reservation was cancelled and the hotel was currently closed . Nobody advised me on this situation before neither assisted me finding a new place to stay. The hotel just told me that Expedia will refund the money but I had to find a new hotel myself that cost me extra money. Dont book this hotel

Unfortunately, my booking was cancelled exactly a week before arrival, the reason being overbooking. I reserved a room for my family a long time in advance, to make sure I could get a reasonable price for Easter holiday. The amount of the entire booking has already been taken from my credit card, without any info from the hotel when I can get my money back, if ever. So, my advice to you is: Do NOT book this hotel, it is a SCAM :-(

Excellent budget hotel, location perfect plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance and minutes away from Shepherd’s Bush tube station, will definitely stay again when I’m next in Shepherd’s Bush!! Check in efficient staff friendly

4 STAR HOTEL TRY 2 DO NOT BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THE HOTEL THEY WILL CHARGE YOU MORE THAN IF YOU BOOK WITH HOTEL WEBSITES - We paid just over £200 for 2 nights, to book directlly would have been £380 Review We stayed for 2 of nights at this hotel. Lets just say straight off the bat that it is on a main road. The sound proofing that is mentioned in the blurb of the hotel is double glazing nothing more. It is noisy, there are lots and lots of cars that go by all time of the night. The room is basic it is not a hotel room more like a bedsit there are no bedside drawers, or at least there wasn't in our room. The shower is lovely and hot and spacious, the air conditioning was freezing hardly any heat going in to the room. The TV remote didn't work but the bed was comfortable. Breakfast consists of something I couldn't begin to explain, I was told it was an omelette but my definition of an omelette is certainly different to theirs. No cooked breakfast just a heap of an egg concoction, cooked like a primary school student would cook. There was plenty of cereal and toast and tea and the ladies serving were friendly, they didn't speak a lot of english but had nice smiles. The reception service was appalling, something dodgy about handing over cash to park when you have already paid. The place feels really shifty, the guy on the reception just sat there with a forced hello and goodbye which we initiated. The location is perfect it is right slap bang where you want to be for trains, shopping, O2 empire. I would never ever stay at this hotel again it is certainly NOT a 4 star hotel. A 4 star requires a lift and this hotel doesn't have a lift. It was disappointing to be honest I expected much more. Lastly THIS AREA IS ULTRA LOW EMISSION ZONE YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR ULTRA LOW EMISSION CHARGE OR FACE A PENALTY CHARGE OF £80 THE HOTEL WILL NOT TELL YOU THIS SO I AM. …

We arrived and there was no hot water in the evening. In the bathroom was very dirty. The bed was comfortable but I would expect to have some bedside cabinet or shelf for putting my glasses amd drink down. I had to climb over my husband to get out of bed as the bed was pushed against the wall (the room was too small to grant a path on either side of the bed). Last but not least NO spare socket for plugging in a charger. Had to disconnect TV or other hotel property to charge our phones. At a price of over £200 a night in Shepherds Bush I would have expected a better standard. When advising the staff I was met with indifference. Grandly hotel you will not see us again!

Just spent two nights at this hotel..I would highly recommend it .very clean.very helpful and friendly staff.everything you could need in your room..even a small fridge..family business I think.if not , they seem like a family

We arrived early and were able to leave our bags in the store room, and were given our key for when we got back from a concert in Wembley. We asked the receptionist if we could use a bathroom and were sent down to a basement, which to be honest was a bit grim, and left us a bit concerned what the room would be like when we eventually got to it late that evening. Turned out there was no reason to be worried as the room was bright and clean with everything we needed to crash for the night. Shower pressure was a bit rubbish but not the end of the world. Overall it was good value for money and served its purpose. I’d use the hotel again if visiting with friends, but would look for something a bit nicer in a better area for a couples getaway.
