The hotel is located in the heart of Paddington, quite near to Paddington station. The place is full of restaurants, shops and what not. Hyde Park is within walking distance, The hotels renovated rooms at upper floors are the best to stay, which are brand new with all facilities like kettle, tea coffee, huge led tv. English breakfast is acceptable... More

Our (double) room was at the basement and it was incredibly small, we barely had space to put our things so that we could get to the bathroom (where we wouldn't fit 2 persons at the same time). The walls were very dirty and the entire room had a weird old-ish smell. The sheets were clean though and that was... More

When you choose 2 star hotel you don't expect much, you just want to get max out of it. Its 120 % worth the money spent on it. The hotel has perfect lication, very central, just 3 min walking distance from tube. The rooms are tidy. Personel is extremely welcoming and nice. Didn't try breakfasts though, so can't say anything... More

We booked a twin room - it was a tiny room located in the attic, with no direct lift. Doorway on the small landing opened dangerously onto a twisting, narrow staircase. Stains on the bed covers, a window that wouldn't lock and even in November it was sooooo hot even without any heating on. Had to keep the fan on... More

A typical but nice old hotel in London near Hyde Park. Our room was small but after reconstruction which made modern look. Unfortunately hotel lift has no access to all floors and I recommend for families with babies to left their prams by the reception desk. Hotel breakfast was included.

Me, my wife and I, stayed there for two nights in October. Room was clean but high up in the attic. Small elevator not able to reach so high up. Had to crawl up a very steep and narrow staircase with all our luggage. No help to get from the lobby. Just one person at the reception not well mannered... More

Our room wasn't available as early as we wanted, but we could leave our bags in the reception area and could later access our room an hour before check-in. Room was small but nice. Cleaning was terrible!!! There was an old tube under one of the beds, many strands of hair and a plastic fork under the other bed. The... More

I stayed in a cave room (220) smelling horrible, toilets didn't work. Close to the breakfast (very noisy). This was my worse experience ever. Went for two nights and only stayed one. Simply horrible. Breakfast was crap.

Reading some of the reviews, I was expecting the worst but actually it's not a bad little hotel really. We paid £70 for a twin room on the ground floor and whilst you wouldn't call it luxurious, it was perfectly adequate for a short stay. The room was clean enough, the bathroom was tired but as clean as it could... More
