I got a room with 15 beds in it and it was booked full. Unfortunately someone in the room smelled rather foul and made a permanent stench in the room. The bed itself was very uncomfortable and gave a bad sleep. The staff were nice and the other guests were hit and miss. Location wise, it is outside of the... More

Next to picadelly circus, it is a hostel well situated, nice breakfast service. Room are good enough to stay a weekend. There is a lift. Staff are completely pleasant and support you in anything you need in some different languages.

London Backpackers is a great place to stay for a few days while searching for a permanent accommodation in London: the price is convenient and the hostel is just in front of Hendon Central Station (Northern line), which makes it also well connected to the city centre. Staff is kind and friendly and all the place is very clean. The... More

Before I could actually move in to my student dorm close to London, I needed a place to stay for 4 nights. Well, I enjoyed it so much! Staff were so friendly, especially the female kitchen and cleaning staff. With the right people the right hostel feel. Beds were ok, equipped with own electricity and light + curtain for some... Nice staff. Nice visitors. Nice public transport. Nice location. Opportunities to charge many devices at once are given. Curtains in front of each bed to have a bit of privacy. Many opportunities to go to toilet so you don't need to wait often.

I stayed here on and off for several months. The staff are great and make a good atmosphere. The place is far more homely than other hostels, with people staying for weeks or months at a time. The kitchen and living room feel much more like a dorm flat than a hostel and the residents when I stayed were mostly... More

We were in a room with 15 (if I remember correctly!) beds. It was very dark and crowded by I can't really complain. It was a good place to stay if you were visiting the city for the whole day. Beds were ok (we found few black hairs in our sheets though. And we both are blond.) but bring earplugs... More

The hostel is ok. It is clean, breakfast fine. It is really far from the center, the overground travel is long and exausting. If you are tired after a day of walking in the center you gonna regret you choise, even it being the cheapest one. But what bother me the most was the shower. There were just three for... More

If you're looking for a hostel near London, this is not the place for you. It is not centrally located and takes about 30 mins to get to the center of London by train. If you're looking for a fun environment to meet other young travelers this is not the place for you as the majority of the people that... More
