Can't fault the accommodation or staff. But my dorm was facing onto the very busy street , its not for people who are light sleepers. Lots of noise from the traffic. Maybe if they invested in some double glazing lol. But fantastic location and very secure.

I was looking for somewhere close to Marlyebone Station. It is easily missed when trying to find it. Lovely selection of small high end shops with eateries. Try Sorta - very friendly staff and great food.

I was staying here for work so was a bit worried about its party credentials, but risked it for the perfect location and it was amazing. Impressively clean, friendly and welcoming, no noise problem at all from the second floor. I was in a 12 bed mixed dorm, everything was great - would definitely stay again!

Rooms are equipped with pod beds giving you added privacy. The breakfast is £3 and offers an okay mix of cereals, bread and toppings. If you want to have your own meals here, you only have a small bar fridge and microwave to use. Staff are friendly and helpful. Attached to a pub with plenty of people occupying the chairs...

The hostel is good, but I had many problems about the booking. The system was not working properly and I lost some money because of this. I also had some problems with a very rude girl in the staff (she has dark hair and works in the morning period. The short girl is great). Extremely aggressive and moody, what made...

First hostel experience here and for that it wasn't too bad. I stayed in the Oasis female only section with extra key card requirements. I had originally booked for 7 nights and before travelling had to extend my stay due to another tour for 2. They accommodated this change and combined the stay on check-in so that I wouldn't have...

We paid for late checkout. We got woken up at 10 to say we had to check out immediately. I tried to explain to the member of staff that we had paid for late checkout but he didn't speak English. I had to go down to the front desk myself to speak to someone. At that point the whole idea...

I had stayed in a 6 bed dorm. The room was nice and clean. The bathrooms were clean. The location is good. Near the tube and bus stops. The best part about the place is the staff. Very friendly and it has a very big common area and pantry. Total value for money

Very decent hostel especially for this price in London; the location is great and the fact that you get discount in pub is making everything even better! The breakfast was very nice as well. On weekends it might get quite noisy at night, though I didn't mind (yet, some of you might need earplugs) Next time I need a place...

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
