Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

When checking in the computer system was playing up and I was asked to make my card payment twice when I questioned it I was told don’t worry if it does charge you twice we will refund it. The following morning before checking out I raised it with the receptionist that the payment had been taken twice. She told me she couldn’t do the refund but would organise for someone to do it later that day and took my details. A week later, I have still not received my money back. I cannot contact the hotel as the phone number on the website doesn’t work. I have sent a message via the website and twitter but had no response. The customer service is disgusting and I’m currently out of pocket as a result of their incompetence

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here over the weekend with 4 friends as we had tickets for the Six Nations game at Twickenham and we wanted somewhere close to the Piccadilly line, so we could get up to the centre of London but also on the District line so we could get down to Richmond. The hotel is located an easy five minute walk from Earl’s Court station, in a really lovely residential area but with shops and restaurants just at the end of the road. Our rooms were what you’d expect from a Premier Inn and all three rooms were situated next to each other. I had rung the hotel the week before to request this, so it was appreciated. They were all located on the first floor in the main building and even though the train line ran directly under our room window, we couldn’t hear a thing. The shower pressure was brilliant, although the room was a little tired and could probably do with a bit of TLC - nothing major though and certainly nothing to put us off our stay. The breakfasts were great and really good value with plenty of choice on offer, including hot and cold options. The staff in the hotel were also really friendly, in particular the reception staff who were on duty over the weekend. All in all, a great place to stay and certainly a hotel that we will use again.

We use Premier Inn many times, in fact we are using a Premier Inn in Plymouth next week. Have never really criticised the company but this hotel needs some sorting, especially around the check in. The self service machines were not working, check in staff took ages to complete guests check ins, then the system would not activate door keys. Guests claiming luggage had to go from room to room looking for their bags, total check in time for us was 40 minutes. Really needs looking at. As for the room all was in order apart from the sink in the bathroom which was partially blocked with water taking a good few minutes to drain each time. As we were only staying one night we reported this on our departure. I have to say that this was an unusually bad experience of the Premier Inn standard.

Stayed in Feb, hotel was clean and lady checking us in was lovely. 9/10 stay with the only issue being we had a pram and case and at one point both lifts were out of order and it’s a lot of distance between reception and our rooms (which in fact used 2 lifts ) and then they were too low staffed to serve food or drinks for a WHILE on second night. But honestly we would go again it’s clean the staff are friendly and the room was perfect for what we needed with fantastic transport links and super close to great food and museums!

Stay at the hotel was ok but several issues where it looked like the root cause was understaffing. Breakfast was chaos and staff were clearly rushed off their feet and stressed - which came out in their interactions with customers and each other. Check in took a very long time as there was only one person on at a very busy time. We used luggage storage on arrival and check out. It was great to have but there was never any check of our luggage tickets meaning we could have taken any bags we liked (we didn’t!). Again staff were too busy trying to deal with too many things at once.

Good location for the Natural History Museum and very handy for Earl's Court tube station. The rooms were as you would expect with a brilliantly comfortable bed. Breakfast was shambolic though. We had to wait about 20 minutes despite having booked. The staff looked very harassed, there were no spoons, no glasses for fruit juice and the food kept running out. I don't know if this was just because it was half term, or, if the staff always struggle to cope.

I've just returned from a stay with my 8yr old. The hotel was brilliant.location is fantastic: close to museums and tube station and the rooms were comfortable and quiet at night. Yes the hotel is a little tired looking in places, but it us extremely clean and the important things like comfortable beds and the power of the shower is all there. At breakfast, the selection was great and staff were very accommodating. Not a luxury hotel: but it doesn't try to pretend that it is. Perfect for what I wanted - a good base fro which to explore London with a child

Great location just off Cromwell Road, ideally placed for visiting the Natural History Museum,(ten mins walk) the Victoria and Albert Museum (ten mins walk) and Kensington Palace and Gardens.(twenty minutes walk) A very short walk from Gloucester Road tube station (about twenty minutes journey from Kings Cross train station) and close to excellent local amenities, a couple of supermarkets (Sainsbury and Waitrose) and lots of cafes and restaurants (including Pizza Express) The hotel was extremely clean and tidy and the staff were excellent, professional, welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We had everything we needed in our room and feel if we had needed anything else we would have been provided with it. Extra tea and coffee supplies are available free of charge in the reception area. Lovely Bayliss and Harding toiletries in the bathroom. There is also a luggage store that we were able to use as we arrived pre check in and on check out which really helped our trip. We would use this Premier Inn again on our next visit to London.

Overall this hotel is great. It is large and well positioned for families. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly although not enough of them! They were all run off their feet! Great facility to leave your bags both before and after check in/out. Most areas nice and clean apart from the toilets by reception, they were not what I would expect for a hotel. Overall a great stay!
