This is a very nice hotel and excellent location to ExCel. The staff are fantastic, and the digital key experience is solid, albeit I did have a few challenges and had to restart bluetooth a couple of times. The internet was mixed. It kept asking for my e-mail address, which

I was here for one day as I had an early morning flight from London City airport. Great for the airport, room was clean of a fairly good size and the bed was comfortable. I can't really say much else as I wasn't there long enough. Pretty good value for money. Not sure I

My partner and I stayed here recently, only for a single night. It had been a gift to us, paid for by his family as we were attending a event at the excel. As lovely as the hotel looked, the staff did little to accommodate us. We felt very out of place and we definitely looked

This was an OK stay, but could have been better. Neither of the two staff members who helped with my check-in said hello, smiled or tried to make any polite conversation. The warmest part of the welcome was the cookie. I had chosen a room via the app, but it turned out that

Smooth check in process. Had 2 rooms booked and we called in advance to have the sofa bed made in one of the rooms. This was done by the time we arrived. Hot cookies on arrival! Parking on site. Rooms were decent size and clean. It being near city airport could hear planes in

The Excel Centre is in London Docklands which is to the east of the City whilst Heathrow is to the west so the journey is long but actually easy. The most economical was would be by the Piccadilly l line underground service changing at Hammersmith on to the District Line to Tower Hill. A short walk will take you to the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) which will then take you to a station very close to the hotel. Alternatively you could take the Heathrow Express to Paddington and then the District or Circle line underground to Tower Hill. You could change at Liverpool |Street on to the Central line to Stratford which is the beginning of one branch of the DLR which will take you to Docklands. Enjoy and remember never be afraid to ask as we "locals" are friendly!

No... I take it you mean the Centre of London? It’s a five minute walk to the Docklands Light Railway station and trains to central London every few minutes from there.
