Had an enjoyable 5 day trip to London, but the Hotel Bentley was a bit disappointing. It is in a great location, but the rooms need some updating. Stains on the carpet, bedspreads very worn, bath towels old and paper thin, and the bathroom needing minor repairs. We did not spend much time in the room, but the quality was not what was advertised as a higher quality hotel on the website. We did not complain to the front desk because another couple had a similar room in the same condition. Staff was friendly at the front desk and generally the room was refreshed well each day.

Hideous!!!! Don't go to this hotel for Afternoon Tea. I don't know how this hotel is still in business as we were the only people there. I have never felt so ripped off before. Afternoon tea that was supposed to be luxurious in a dirty room, dirty old furniture, no one else there, no ambience. It took us 15 minutes before we were allowed to be seated so they could check and verify our vouchers. £25 per head for 4 dry old finger sandwiches and cakes that were so small they could all fit in the palm of one hand. Some of the sandwiches and cakes were inedible they were so poor. I cannot understand how they get away with this. Non existent staff. Shown a dirty menu when we were seated to say this is what you get and you get no more!

I would not stay here again. It was not particularly bad, but for the money we spent it was not the best service or clean enough. It didn't help that when I called the night before to let them know when we would be arriving, the front desk asked me to call back three times before he could confirm my reservation because their booking system was down. When I arrived the next day, another guest was asking to speak to the manager because her room was cleaned and she was missing some money. They upgraded us from a queen to a king suite. My room was fine. The rooms were spacious and had marble bathrooms with a shower and bathtub with gold fixtures, but they were not clean or well-maintained. There were stains on the floor, shower floor, and glass shower doors. The carpets were also stained and musty smelling. The bed sheets smelled like insect repellant. I had been staying at a Yotel earlier in the week and I much prefer it! …

I love this spa! Have been twice now as i enjoyed it so much the first time. Firstly i cannot understand all the negative reviews, my experiences have always been amazing. The hammam is amazing, really is a must try if you have never done one before. Then the massage are even better, i have never had a therapist ensure they cater to all my specific needs during a massage. My back honestly felt amazing after. The spa itself may be small, but perfect really for a solo spa day or with a friend. Much rather a small intimate location then spa’s that have gangs of ladies in the locker rooms where you can barely get to your locker again.

My mum and I visited Le Kalon Spa here for a massage and afternoon tea package and out of all the massages we have had done at different spas over the years this was by far the best. The two therapists Melissa and Naomi were so friendly and made our experience very welcoming and relaxing, and as a sports massage therapist myself I could feel how they adapted the massage to my more tense areas. The spa itself was very homely and the afternoon tea had a great selection of sandwiches and cakes although I would have liked more than one scone. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be returning.

No words “just appalling” we have stayed here before and it was great this time the pictures will say it all what a bump less than 1 star .. dirty dirty dirty… please think about booking, staff never spoke to us service not the best, changed rooms this was slightly better but the only room they had left it was our 25th wedding anniversary… such a shame this hotel has gone down hill in 2 year :(

The facilities were good for the self use Hammam, however the facial treatment was just basic. The lady at the Spa reception was not even greeting with a smile. They didn't have Turkish tea and food platter took forever to come. It was under staffed and the attitude of the staff in the restaurant was poor. I would not give the hotel a 5* rating.

Left the experience feeling really deflated. Meant to be 2 hours and out of that two hours combined i was left alone for 30 mins whilst the masseuse was wondering about. Massage left me feeling worse than i came in. Never received my complimentary glass of champagne either. Staff brush you off

A friend and I booked a deluxe hammam package to also include a hot stone massage and a facial. (£187.50 each) Though we can’t fault the therapists- who were both lovely- the spa facilities were really not up to much. Certainly not 5 star and definitely not worth the money we paid. Both the robes we were given were tatty, torn- mine had big holes under the armpit! I did ask the therapist for another one but was told the laundry hadn’t been delivered for the day and no more were available. It was so disappointing that the actual treatment area is just a cordoned off section and not proper rooms. The whole area needs a revamp as it is really past its best before date. Totally dated. Sadly would not recommend this place for the luxurious treat (which we had been expecting from the website) The therapists seemed to be doing many jobs, manning reception, treatments plus cleaning up- i’m sure the hotel is running on minimum staff (as are many others) which is a real shame and obviously unless money is invested and more staff recruited then the service you pay good money for is never going to be realised. …
