The Clarendon Hotel overlooks historic Blackheath. This area of London is very special with Greenwich Park, the River Thames and many fine attractions to visit. Situated in Blackheath Village with its many special shops, cafes and bars to enjoy, the Clarendon offers a village atmosphere close to the O2 Arena (10 mins), Central London and Excel in Docklands. All rooms are en-suite with facilities such as the Meridian Restaurant, Nautical Chart Bar. Parking - the hotel has a front and rear car park, however these do get filled. For alternative parking, there is street parking or the Blackheath Village train station car park, which has CCTV. With Blackheath in front of the hotel, we are of course dog friendly.

Old hotel which has been renovated here and there. If you’re looking for immaculate rooms, this isn’t it. But it was clean and we thoroughly enjoyed the old feel. Breakfast spread was great. Location was perfect to attend a show at the O2, and Blackheath neighborhood is super cute. Walking through Greenwich Park to the Queen’s House and other attractions is a must.

What a charming hotel. Situated facing Blackheath common and a short 5 minute walk to the station (Direct 20-25 minute train to Waterloo East or Charring Cross) Short walk to many excellent restaurants and shops. The room was very comfortable with comfy beds and lovely linens. It was spotless, as was the immaculate bathroom. Lovely clean white towels. Maybe increase the size of the bath towel. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice and suitable for every taste. Staff were welcoming and efficient every morning. In fact, all the staff we met were very helpful and very welcoming. We are definitely returning. Great stay and highly recommended.

We was extremely impressed with the room. The breakfast was amazing. Absolutely love the breakfast. Will definitely be staying there again. Buses on route & the buses run rather regular which was really nice.

Very nice and friendly hotel. Blackheath is a quiet neighbourhood in Londen. Not far from Greenwhich and enough to see and to walk. The little village is pretty and good shops to visit. Many places to eat.

Great location, very convenient for access by car or public transport as I used both. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff, warm and comfortably furnished, the restaurant food and service was very good, excellent value all round and I will definitely stay again!

Lovely, friendly staff that are so helpful. But the hotel is tired looking, tatty round the edges and in need of some cosmetic maintenance - e g. holes in walls, scuffed paintwork and doors that don't close properly. The bed was comfy enough but we slept badly thanks to noise from a car park outside (no double glazing) and noisy neighbours in rooms above us.

The hotel feels very impersonal and parking is a mightmare. The breakfast arrangements are awful. Room was small and overlooked a yard. It was our second visit and we may have to use it again due to a lack if other suitable accommodation in the area.

Very welcoming and comfortable Hotel ideally placed for easy links into London. The surrounding area of Blackheath is well worth spending time in with numerous restaurants, a good variety of shops all with a vibrant atmosphere. The rooms are clean, comfortable and we all really enjoyed our stay. The Hotel restaurant also offers great food for a special evening meal with a good and reasonably priced wine list. Breakfast has to be the best I've had in recent Hotel stays, high quality ingredients, well presented and a great set up for a days exploring, highly recommended.
