An absolutely fabulous place. Excellent value for money. Superb location, in the heart of London, just a short walk from the Underground. Clean, neat and very modern rooms, with very effective wi-fi. A scrumptious breakfast across the road in the Imperial College student lounge. The breakfast is so substantial, you really don't need lunch! The staff are very very knowledgeable... More

Psst, Are you a value traveller? Stay nice and central in London? Here you go… Surrounded by several museums (within 8 minute walk, including the Victoria & Albert), Hyde Park, Royal Albert Hall, several bus stops and 9 minute walk to the tube. Friendly and efficient reception will guide you to a modest but acceptable room. The breakfast included is... More

Booked a room with 2 twin beds and en suite. I was pleased with the location and the size of the room - including all the space to unpack and the desk fans that made all the difference. Building was very secure and quiet. Shower is ridiculously small but that seems to be normal in London so we just dealt... More

The IC accommodation available during the summer is in a very central location, nice park and offers quite a lot for a reasonable price. Not to confuse with the Beit Hall accommodations which are of lower standards. The reception was well staffed and friendly, you can leave your luggage there and they offer a lot of information. The room I... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in a double room. The rooms are a bit tight but everything else is great. Clean, bright and all facilities including a washer dryer in the basement. Breakfast buffet includes eggs, meat, beans, fruits, cereal, bread, croissants, tea and coffee. It's a 10 min walk to south Kensington station.

Small but clean rooms, safe and comfortable stay. Location is just perfect few meters from many museums, Hyde Park and the subway station. Breakfast area a bit crowded, some mornings there is even a line but the breakfast is also ok. I highly recommend this accommodation for those who are travellin with low budget. You will not regret.

Stayed here whilst on business in London for a week, and managed to leave my phone behind on last day. My panicked call was answered by Victoria on reception who to my surprise asked if she ring me back in 5 mins so that she could go to the room and check for the phone herself, (none of the usual... As other reviewers note this is not a hotel (although better than many I have stayed in, paying significantly more and purporting to offer more too) and this does affect the offering. This said, the Imperial College experience is pretty hard to beat in its class. It's a safe environment, helpful and experienced staff, great location, modern rooms with working... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights here at the end of August and were quite impressed. The rooms are actually halls of residence for the Imperial College which are used as a hotel during the summer. The rooms are smaller than we expected and had no TV, but we didn't spend much time in the room, so this was... More

For the price and in London this accommodation really can't be beaten. If you want luxury it isn't for you but if you just need a base in the heart of London then it definitely would be perfect for you. Lovely courtyard garden, good shower, short walk to the Victoria & Albert and Natural History Museums, Hyde/Kensington Park/Gardens, Royal Albert... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighbourhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
