Boutique experience in London

We visited Baglioni hotel as a family and we are really happy by our stay there. First location is perfect if you want to stay in South Kensington near the park. The hotel is just on other side of the street from Kensington gardens. Second, we are really impressed by the front desk and concierge staff, everybody was really kind and helpful. We have stayed in Deluxe room which was big and well equipped (I personally loved the coffeemaker) but I suppose that the ones with a view of the park are even better. Generally speaking a really good boutique hotel with extremely competent staff.…

High class boutique hotel

Well situated, across from the park and just steps away from Kensington High Street, this hotel is a magnificent place to stay at when visiting London. The front desk staff are very elegant and helpful, and the breakfast is certainly a big plus. The only remark I can make is the lack of electrical plugs in the bed area to charge the phones. I love this hotel !

I spent yearly more than 3 months in Hotels. It was an wonderful experience . The staff is so kind , helpful and always here to pamper you. The concierges and reception desk make you feel at home . It is a boutique hotel ambiance with an great location in South Ken. Definitively the London’s Baglioni is in my top 3 favorite hotels in the world . Can’t wait to my next stay …

Italian Elegance on Hyde Park

This is a true gem. Staff was responsive, extremely helpful and they create an informal atmosphere where you sense the place is yours. The knowledgeable Concierge desk is as good as any with thought and creative suggestions. The complimentary car service for nearby trips is a valuable convenience. 2 room suite was spacious with first rate appointments. Beautiful bathrooms and decor. Our stay at the Baglioni Hotel was excellent. We celebrated our 31st wedding Anniversary and the staff there Made it one to remember. I see you had a recent stay at Baglioni, even though it shows 2.4 miles to center of London, some reviews show 25 minute cab ride...That is expensive and too long, did u find that true. Not a fan of public transportation especially in London.

you can walk to all the main attraction in London from the hotel. Also better use Uber than a cab

The last time I was in London was in the 1980s and my daughter was too young to recall it. I am planning a trip to go back there this summer with her and would like any suggestions on hotels, clubs, restaurants, and things to do that won't bore a young lady in her 30s. Friends that have returned from UK last year and informed me it has changed quite a bit since I last seen it and it is quite dangerous in some areas. How does UK rate their hotels? Is 5* the highest rating? In some countries, a 5* rating is not the highest rating, they have diamond ratings that are higher than the star ratings and their 5 star is more like a 2 or 3 * rating in the states. Although we should not be spending much time in the hotel, we would rather pay extra to return to something worth while with a more ambient setting. Although we enjoy socializing and would enjoy a couple of drinks in the evening we do not want a disco scene or some extremely loud wild scene plagued with drunks acting the fool and drugs. A more professional atmosphere is better suited for us.

The Baglioni is a wonderful Hotel, far enough away from things to be quiet but not too far to be away from things. Bar is quiet but fully stocked with a small terrace if warm enough to be outside.

We are arriving on a cruise that ends in Portsmouth,what will be the best way to get to your hotel,date of arrival June 10.Thank's(and how long will it take to get there??).

Dear Guest From Portsmouth Pier there are regular trains to London Victoria & Waterloo Station; the approximate journey time is 2 hours; Victoria Station is located at about 20 minutes by taxi from the hotel and Waterloo is at about 30 minutes. Alternatively we can arrange a chauffeur service at the price of £375.00 with a Maserati Quattroporte or £405.00 with a Mercedes Viano; the approximate journey time is 2.5 hours. The Brunello bar and restaurant opens at the following times :- Lunch noon - 2:30pm. Afternoon tea 1 pm - 5-30pm. Dinner 7pm - 10-30pm. Hope this helps and enjoy your time in London. Kind regards.
