From the moment we entered the hotel the staff were so kind and helpful. We’d sadly had to cancel our wedding due to covid so booked The Zetter for a night away on our ‘would be’ wedding day. The entire staff were unbelievably kind and made the weekend super special even though we didn’t get to have our wedding day. Room was beautiful, breakfast delicious and staff out of this world. 1000000% recommended. Locations fabulous too, will definitely be back.

My wife and I were so lucky to have stayed at the Zetter twice during our honeymoon. We flew from NYC on the 2nd January and arrived in London tired and jet lagged. Thankfully the hotel had kindly organised a pick up for us and whisked is quickly into the city. The Hotel: Upon arrival we were delighted at a) the location and b) the welcome we received from the front of house staff. We were quickly taken to our room (5th floor) and astounded when shown the space and views (plus the complimentary bottle of bubbles was a great touch). Also the little details everywhere really added to the experience. Having stayed at 5* hotels all over the world, you know when you are a guest vs when you’re just a number - at the Zetter you are well and truly family. The Service: From the first moment we arrived to when we departed, nothing was too much trouble. As mentioned earlier we stayed at the Zetter twice in the space of a week as had organised a quick trip to Tromso to try and glimpse the northern lights. Between organising our airport transfers and holding onto the bulk of our luggage, it was almost like staying with relatives. The location What might not be considered the west end, we found the location perfect for exploring London. Walking distance from two tube stations - but even better walking distance from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge - also our next connection to catch the train to Paris from St Pancras. Not much more to say other than definitely staying the next time we come to London. Thanks for having us. P.S: if you get a chance to try out the cocktail lounger at the Zetter Townhouse across the square - definitely worth trying.

We stayed here in one of the rooftop suites for our honeymoon. Overall the room was very nice, but the service failed to impress, especially for the occasion & having one of the most expensive suites. When we arrived I felt like I was about to die because we had been on an overnight flight from NYC, where I didn't sleep at all. It was around 11:30 AM when we arrived, and I felt like I was going to pass out. We were briskly informed that early check in was not available and we should go out and come back in a few hours. They weren't very apologetic about it. They said if we wanted early check in we would have had to reserve the room for a whole additional night before. Because spending $400 more for 4 extra hours is a great idea...not. I was so overtired I went and cried in the bathroom out of exhaustion and disappointment. There was nothing I wanted more than to lie down at that moment. It wasn't a very good start to the honeymoon, or first time in London. So we decided to eat a late breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel, which turned out to be terrible food. I tried to walk around a bit to kill time, but I was falling asleep standing up. After two and half hours, I eventually went inside and just sat by the front desk to wait for my room to be ready. At that point I didn't even care if I fell asleep in the lobby. I sat there for another half hour before the room was finally ready. The room itself was big and just as pictured. It had an amazing rooftop view of London and a bath tub outdoors. Sadly the water for the tub only ran to luke warm and not hot enough to even try to use it in Oct. The biggest issue with the room was maintaining a good temperature at night. Even with putting the heat on the lowest setting we woke up sweltering many nights and had to open the door for air. Otherwise everything was pretty standard but aside from the view nothing was very special or memorable about this place. There was a big lack of desk service or concierge in the lobby. I don't think anyone on the staff asked if we needed anything the entire stay. Overall it was an ok place to stay, but forgettable. They certainly didn’t do anything to make our honeymoon special even though we had one of the nicest suites available.

Thankyou for sharing your review, I am saddened to read that your experience was not as expected. As you will know our guaranteed check in time is 3pm and our check out time is 12 midday, and we endeavour to offer early check ins whenever possible. In this case, as the room that you had booked had been booked the night before this option was not available, and as you booked a roof top deluxe,and as there are only 2 rooms of this type the demand for these rooms can be quite high, this is why we do recommend that you pre register the night before to be guaranteed of an early check in. As i understand you checked in before 3pm, which is great to read, and i fully understand that when one is tired from a long flight any waiting time can feel like forever. Unfortunately as most hotels across the world, we are temporarily closed at the moment, and as your stay was back in October , I am unable at this stage to look into the other matters that you raised. As you will see from a majority of the reviews on this site, the reviews are fabulous, the staff are highly commended for their customer service, and making the Hotel feel like a home from home, I am sorry that you did not feel this was the experience that you encountered, and had this have been brought to my attention during your stay, i would have had the chance to investigate this further, and meet you in person to chat about these issues and try to resolve anything that was not to your liking, as customer service is at the heart of everything that we do.
