Found this on Groupon - I was attracted by price & location as could explore East End. Some nerves thinking 'what have I done'? as never stayed in hostel, truly loved it, liked the communial vibe, the decor, the beds were large & comfortable. Going to try all Safestay hostels.

We had high expectations because of the other positive reviews. We were pretty disappointed. - There was a huge construction site right outside our window and they started 7 am with yelling and swearing and loud machines. Would have been nice to know about that. - The showers were small and the drain did not work properly. The water pressure...

The bed was probably the comfiest hostel bed I've slept in. And the curtains around the bed are great as they give you some privacy and also keep it fairly dark. The toilers and showers were always clean. And there were lots of areas communally to chill in sofas/tables etc. It's just under a 5 min walk from Elephant and...

Friendly hostel in London, good value for the money, clean rooms, clean place, kind and helpful staff, free wi-fi, comfortable reception area. The quality of sleep depends on the politeness and understanding of guests, especially when there are 8 bed in the same room.

Recently stayed here and it's a really good location to travel to central London. However, be prepared to take the bus back (on late night weekends) since the tube closes quite early. The hostel is really nice, with wide ranges of facilities and friendly staff. Only concern would be the wifi, it's only strong at the lobby.

The hostel is lovely and has friendly staff and clean rooms. The breakfast spread is really good but could be served til 10am rather than 9am. The Only bad thing is that the windows don't lock in the room

Needed a room to stay and this came in at a very good price. The appearance gave it more of a boutique hotel feel than that of a hostel. Bedding and bathrooms were very clean and easy access from the underground. Didn't sleep well, but that was more to do with sharing a room with 7 others who have their...

The staff is incredibly friendly! The rooms are nicely sized with blackout curtains so you won't wake up easily. Perfect location for sightseeing, only a £10 uber ride to all the major sites. You have to pay for breakfast which isn't great, but it's nicely sized.

Regarding the hostel is beautiful and cleans. But you can't eat or drink water if you don't buy it inside. Stupid business if you are a hostel, no Hotel. But then they said you can eat in your room without ventilation and you know what's means to eat there with more people resting or sleeping.
