I stayed in the cozy front room (the one with bathroom attached). Combined with the living room and kitchen downstairs, it was like having an apartment to yourself! The neighbourhood is very attractive, away from the hubbub of central London (although very close to the Natural History Museum and the V&A), and yet close to buses and the subway that can get you quickly to major attractions. Margaret and Simon clearly enjoy being B&B hosts - also while you are there, investigate the artwork on their walls (it's fascinating!).
Owners Margaret and Simon have done a great job creating a comfortable, chic bed and breakfast in the tree-lined, hip neighborhood of Chelsea in London. My mother and I stayed in the Terrace Room in October of 2015, which featured Simon's compelling artwork and the luxury of a private terrace that overlooked the rooftops of Chelsea. I thoroughly enjoyed drinking my coffee there every morning! In hindsight, I should have reserved the room with the en suite bathroom, but that's just a matter of personal preference. Margaret and Simon were great about providing us with dining and excursion recommendations, with their locals knowledge and very evident love for their community. If you've always fantasized about living in London, a stay at the At Home Inn Chelsea is a great place to experience what that would be like!…
Stayed 3 nights in a triple with a bathroom in this very cozy B and B. The owners were fantastic and very welcoming and provided great tips on London. After a day or walking all over the city it was nice to come rest at a place that was very relaxing and unpretentious. The breakfast was great everyday! Restaurants, bus and shopping two blocks away.
A good experience with a B&B in London. The location is terrific, 10 min stroll from Earls Court tube or handy buses that go through Central London, via many of the sights. The rooms were in keeping with a building of this age. We had booked two rooms, the double and the single room. Both have en-suites and in the larger room the bonus of a fridge, plus some period furniture. The hosts were fantastic, very welcoming, including the cat Kipper. Very quiet locale and the balcony on the back the perfect location for a quiet drink after a long London day of sights. Some nice restaurants nearby at a comfortable walk. A laundrette close by in Earls Court was handy. All in all a recommended place to stay in London, that is cost effective and welcoming.
Comfy room with classic home decoration. The host is friendly and cheerful who welcome anyone from the world. Although it located in the residential area but it's well connected to South Kingston. Breakfast room is a great place to meet other travellers and exchange the travel information in town. Just love it!
