#54 of 873 B&Bs / Inns in London

We're Duncan from Yorkshire and Barbro from Sweden. We've worked and lived in London for over 50 years. We'll give you a warm welcome in our Victorian terraced house in the quiet calm of the Queen's Park conservation area. You'll have a generous, recently decorated bedroom with generous double or twin beds and plenty of storage. We've traveled the world so we know what a traveler needs these days:

• a large double bed OR twin beds

• your own private en suite shower-room with WC
, heated towel rail and underfloor heating.

• Ample hanging space, hangers, plenty of drawers

• free high speed wi-fi broadband (18MB)

• table and chairs

• office facilities - to print stuff out

• a washing machine and drying room

• an iron and ironing board

• a modern flat screen HD TV/DVD player

• a bedside radio/alarm clock

• a hairdryer - (not just for the ladies)

• a kettle to brew one of our teas, infusions or coffee

• bottled water - still and sparkling

• fresh fruit and flowers

• something crunchy for those munchy moments

..And a few other useful things nearby...

• A relaxing lounge, with sofas, HD 3D cable TV

• an honour bar for the odd nightcap

• a lovely garden and patio with table and chairs and smoking facilities

We're known for our excellent cooking and we'll prepare you breakfasts to remember from "Full English" to a Swedish smorgasbord and own own famous 'specials'

We'll help you plan where to go, when and where to shop, dine out or get tickets in London - Barbro's a regular guide around town.

Experienced an enjoyable and restful week at Keslake Towers. We got a delicious daily breakfast of our choice from the menu. Choices included a taste of English and Swedish breakfast items and educational information about same. After spending fun filled days with our granddaughter who lives close by we got a great night rests back at the towers in our cozy bed. We highly recommend Keslake Towers . Barbro and Duncan were welcoming and delightful hosts. We would definitely consider staying again in the future.

I've just returned from my visit to London and my stay in Keslake Towers with Duncan and Barbro. I was in London to see an NFL game at Wembley with some friends. But it was just me staying at keslake towers as my friends were staying right beside the stadium. This was fine by me because I didnt want to stay in a hotel, I find them impersonal and staying with Duncan & Barbro was the exact opposite of Impersonal. Straight away I knew I had made the right choice, just stepping into the house was warm and friendly. The room I was staying in was very spacious and Immaculately kept. I had my own bathroom and shower, which was spotless. I arrived on a saturday evening and was welcomed to join Duncan and Barbro for dinner and to watch strictly come dancing. Which I wouldve done had I not already arranged to meet my friends. This just would not happen in a Hotel...... Breakfast the next morning was massive! I had some musseli with yogurt and Duncan whipped me up some eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes. I really wanted to try the "Hot scottish porrige" but this takes a little time to prepare and I needed to head to the game but Duncan said he would make it for me for the next day......which he did and it was epic. This porrige will keep you going for the day! The area itself is very nice and safe. Its really quiet at night and I slept really well. Anyway all in all I can say that this was like staying in my own home. Duncan and his wife treated my like a member of the famliy and I look forward to staying with them again next time Im in London. I cant imagine staying anywhere else now.

I loved staying with Barbro and Duncan! Why? Fantastic genuine welcome, great food, cosy, quiet and warm room, stimulating conversation, and the little touches like fruit and flowers in my room. Nothing was too much trouble - including my gluten free, dairy free, caffeine free, vegetarian dietary requirements!

Near Queen's park, walking distance from Underground Queen's park station (10 mins), Overground Kensal Rise (5 mins) and many buses that bring you to central London. Room is a bit more spacious than what you usually get in Central London for this price. Highlights include a homemade breakfast and 2 lovely hosts!

Accommodations were lovely. Very clean and hosts make you feel extremely welcome and provide helpful tips. Breakfast exceeded expectations. Both Duncan and Barbro have class and are gourmet cooks. I was a bit shocked of one of their artworks. But still I will come back and will recommend to family and colleagues at work because the warmth and accommodations exceeded my expectations. Marce
