Had a great 5 night stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived the service from the reception staff was 5 stars .. friendly and helpful, showed us to our room (I think was room 3022). Room was a good size comfy bed, lovely bathroom with rain shower and perfect water pressure. You can not get a better location and the room was strangely quiet....this is our new go to when next staying in London:)

Once thank you for your heartfelt comments and I am looking so much forward to welcoming you back on your next visit to London. Kind regards, Bettina Hotel Manager PS. First time staying at this hotel in Soho, I must say this is one of the best 4 star hotels I've stayed on with my family, especially in this covid times where cleanliness is a must.
First off, just want to commend the staff, I was greeted by a friendly nice man upon entering Mr. Valentino greeted us, very friendly you will feel at home right away unlike other hotels that I've stayed on where the person at the reception gave that bad impression and the whole experience ruined anyhow, we were wearing facemasks entering, hand santizer stations near the door, our room was not ready yet so we just left our bags and was told they were just gonna call us when our room was ready(another + for me) other hotels wont even bother to tell you if your room is ready, so we walked around the location itself is nice, plenty of restaurants nearby, literally you have chinatown nearby! And you can always have food delivered if you don't want to come out, deliveroo/ubereats is available and I was told the people in reception can even bring the food to your room! Wow thats service right there! Anyway about an hour or so, I got a call telling me our room was ready, it was around 12nn, check in is normally 3pm so thats perfect! Went back to the hotel, finished all the check in details( refundable deposit of £50) will be taken contactless ofc, then then quick temperature check, they sanitize the keycards before handing in another plus! Everything is clean and safe, went to our room, we booked superior double room which has an extra sofa bed for my daughter, room is lovely spacious enough, the small kitchenette hidden in the cupboards is a nice touch, even comes with britta filtered water right from the tap! Nespresso Coffee machine aswell, nice roomy shower with one overhead shower(rainfall type) then one small one. There is even a bose speaker system in the shower! Which plays off the tv audio so what ever audio you are playing in the tv can be heard in the shower room! Amazing! And another thing they provide gloves/facemasks kit in the room feel free to use, smart tv, free wifi included which is fast enough. Overall will stay again in this hotel whenever i'm in the area! Highly recommended

Dear OxfordPinoyreviews! Thank you sooo much for this F A N T A S T I C review! :D It is just amazing how you shared your experience and we just loved every single word. First of all thank you for your kind words to the staff and for appreciating the way we provide our service, our main priority is always to help our guests making them feel at home and assisting them with everything they need. We are super happy to see that we knew how to make you feel that way. Especially it is great to know that we could make you feel safe with our COVID measures, put in place for the health and safety of everyone in the building. I would like to thank you personally for you cooperation and your patience with this task. Also, we are super grateful for your comments about our location. For sure, Soho could not be more convenient. Restaurants, theaters, pubs, bars...everything in walking distance to feel the neighborhood and the city in a really special way that just areas like Soho can offer. Of course, we are delighted to know that you enjoyed the amenities in your room, especially the useful kitchenette that can be quite handy if one day you decide to stay in your quiet room resting from the excitement of the lively and vibrant Soho area. :) Thank you once again for taking the time to leave this amazing feedback, it is fantastic to know that you will stay with us when you are back in the city and now the team and I are counting the days to welcome you and your family at The Resident Soho. See you soon! Sandra Reception Manager

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
We booked a superior room directly with the hotel, the pictures on the hotel's site made the impression that the superior rooms are much larger than they were in reality. The standard rooms are quite tiny. This being said, our room was clean, we got nice fluffy bath towels changed daily, a Nespresso machine and a kettle for tea lovers. There is a small kitchenette but we did not use it, I am sure it might come handy for those who have kids with them or like to dine in their room.
Our room was very quiet despite the hotel being in the heart of Soho, the only problem was that during our stay construction work was being done outside on the street and in the other room we booked the noise started early morning disrupting the sleep of other family members.
The staff was professional and friendly.
All in all the location of the hotel was the best choice we could make and we were ready to pay the above-average price for hotels in this category, for this hotel, just so we had everything we needed close to us.

It is great to see that you enjoyed our central location and that you found everything you needed during your stay, for sure Soho is one of the best areas in London as we are close to the best restaurants, shops and theatres and that will make your time in the city unforgettable. Please for your next stay, contact me directly and I will be more than happy to help you to find the perfect room for you. The staff were all so friendly and professional, check in was a breeze with them. We were upgraded upon arrival so our room was absolutely lovely, lots of room and a huge king size bed! However I’m certain we would’ve been just as happy with the smaller room we’d originally booked. The room had a small kitchenette hidden away in a cupboard which came in very handy for us and separates it from a lot of other hotels. The bathroom was great with a huge bath and powerful shower. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean, as well as the lobby which brings me to their Covid-19 safety. I’ve stayed in a few hotels post-lockdown and this hotel felt the safest one I’ve stayed in so far. As I said, everything was clearly cleaned thoroughly and there was a seal on our door that was placed once it had been cleaned so we know it had been untouched since the cleaning. There was hand sanitiser everywhere, the staff were all wearing masks and they took our temperatures on arrival. We felt very safe and comfortable here and would absolutely recommend anyone stay here if they’re worried about risk of catching the virus! The location of the hotel is also amazing, right in the heart of soho and walking distance to everything and multiple tube stations! But it was noticeable quiet in our despite the multiple busy bars surrounding the hotel. Sadly we only had a one night stay booked and had to be out early in the morning but the time we were there for was wonderful and I can’t wait to go back and stay for longer!

We stayed for one night after a family day out in London. Ideal location for the surrounding area of Soho and Covent Garden if you fancy. The room was very well presented and equipped with tea and coffee making facilities as well as a fridge, microwave and a kitchen sink. The shower was very spacious and clean. The overall service, cleanliness and covid awareness is very good. Without a doubt would definitely use this hotel again.

Have stayed here in the past but it was owned by different people then. First stay under Covid19 restrictions so it's a different experience now but still comfortable given the circumstances.
Check-in easy and friendly as ever. Masks to be worn in the hotel unless you are in your own room. Room had been cleaned and sealed before arrival.
No room cleaning during your stay but this is normal now with all hotels.
Rooms are comfortable with a decent bed and shower and proper air conditioning. In room WiFi works well enough..
Rooms have a little kitchen area in the wardrobe with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Just make sure to close the wardrobe door at night or the little light comes on when you move in the bed.
Friendly staff, good location for the west end, comfortable room and quiet enough traffic noise in the area to get a decent sleep.
No restaurant in the hotel which usually wouldn't be an issue but with England in lockdown it was challenging to find something to eat, but you can order take away food to be delivered to your room as an alternative.
Would be happy to stay again.

Morning Kiteman_ie, Thank you for your lovely review, It is great to know you are a valued returning guest, we have simply rebranded in Feb this year, We have the same great guest focus and owners have not changed, just the name, we felt that 'The Resident' is a name more suited to our brand, a name we deserve. I am delighted you felt so comfortable and safe with our new procedures. We can offer service throughout the stay however we will ask your permission first as we understand each person has a different level of comfort with the current situation. As you have mentioned our facilities, please keep in mind we can source items for you in advance of stay, snacks, cheese, breads, you could also choose from our wine and beer choices, all can be placed in the mini kitchen prior to arrival for your comfort, simply let any of the team know what you would like to have. We will look forward to your next stay with us and thank you for choosing us once again. Kindest regards Pauline Hotel Manager

Could not recommend this hotel enough! 5 minute walk from the tube station and quick access to Oxford Street! Staff were very welcoming on arrival they couldn't do enough for us. We were celebrating my friends birthday and they provided a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates which were a generous personal touch! The hotel has a lovely boutique feel to it and feels very plush. The king size bed was probably the most comfy bed ive ever slept in! Post COVID19 staff were attentive and the hotel was exceptionally clean, felt very comfortable staying there. Would 100% recommend this hotel!

My wife and I stayed at the Nadler Soho in August of 2019 and had a very satisfied experience. (check out my previous review). When I was advised of the name change to The Resident Soho, my initial response was some apprehension, however that was put to rest when I contacted the hotel for an upcoming stay in February 2020 and was assured that only the name changed and that the staff and service would be the same. Well we did stay in February and needless to say the experience this time was equal to or better than our previous visit. The General Manager Rob has put together a fantastic staff that provides exemplary service. Rob himself was extremely helpful is assisting us with our reservation and answering all of our questions. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Our sincere thanks go out to the following front desk personnel who made our visit very memorable. In no particular order since all were great are Mateusz, Bart, Sandra, Maria, Christian and Esther. Hopefully I did not miss anyone. In addition to the many unnamed housekeeping staff that took care of our room every day, thank you for your attention to every small detail that did not go unnoticed. The Resident Soho will definitely be our hotel of choice for any future visits to London.

What a fabulous hotel.
Beautifully clean and it felt very safe during the current pandemic, nothing was too much trouble.
The staff at reception were so helpful.
We loved the location as it was perfect for soho day and nightlife.
We joined as members and got an early check in and late check out. We also received an additional 15% off.
The rooms have a small kitchen set behind a cupboard which was really great. The hotel also had a service whereby they would purchase food and drinks to be delivered to your room at cost, we ordered breakfast croissants and pain au chocolat and it was fantastic

I booked this primary based on location and value, but I’ll be booking again based on service. The staff were all incredible. The room was sanitised and sealed, with a door that closed quietly (why doesn’t every hotel do this?) and a good sized bed. It was a nice surprise to find the kitchenette in the room. Every staff member I encountered was great - really friendly, relaxed and efficient. I’ll definitely be staying again.

Thank you for your question. The team would be happy to source out groceries before your arrival - this can be items for your fridge or larder which we can pre-stock so that you have everything when you check in :) Just let us know in an email which items you would like and we will do our best to find them for you.
Thank you so much for your question.
Our Deluxe rooms are approximately 28.4m2. We do also have a Suite which is approximately 49.8m2. Both room types can be used for a family of 4 people.
Thank you for your question. Yes, all our King, Superior, Deluxe and Suite rooms are equipped with a King size bed.
I hope to be welcoming you to The Resident Soho.
Kind regards,
Bettina
Thank you for your question. We do not have a bar at the hotel, however, we do sell exciting drinks for our guests to enjoy in their room or in our lobby.
We do "evening drinks" daily for our residents from 18.00-19.00 where we offer a glass of complimentary wine. We can also arrange a fridge fill for our guests before their arrival as we do have a mini-kitchen in all our 78 rooms.
Dear Tsh0t,
Thank you very much for your question.
It would be very very tight due to the layout of the room, however, our Deluxe rooms have a different layout and we would be able to place 2 rollaway beds in those rooms. You are more than welcome to send us an email and we would be happy to provide you with further information :)
Kind regards,
Bettina
