Theres a number of plus points here, location, excellent staff and good kitchenette facility in the double room we had. But the key areas mean its poor and I cannot recommend. The bed was a pull down bed and really uncomfortable, the room was far to hot. And breakfast isn't breakfast at the weekend it's brunch served at 11, who...

Stayed here for 2 nights in some of the hottest weather. No fans available and the window bearly opened. Could hardly sleep on the pull down bed it was so uncomfortable and when I did manage to get some kip I woke up covered in sweat and dripping wet hair due to the lack of ventilation. Supposed to be staying...

A few months since our last visit and one major change which to some will seem trivial but should be recorded and remarked. Breakfast is still much as it was except for being dished up on paper plates to be attacked with flexible plastic cutlery unequal to the challenge of bacon. Coffee is still decent but there is much about...

DO NOT STAY HERE- north korea has more freedom. You have no privacy, cleaners walk into your room every morning wether you like it or not. reception is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. worst hall in london

This place is nicely located, near Russel Square station. The rooms are fairly quiet and the communal bathrooms were unusually clean for a halls. Only con is that the staff are unhelpful and unmotivated to the point of being just downright rude - someone might want to remind them that the summer 'guests' are not students who are 'locked in'...

This is a very basic Hall of residence in Russell Square and is made special by the brilliant staff who work so hard to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. We would definitely stay here again.

Solo Traveler, booked a single private room. Shared bathroom. The room is small, but supplied a towel and linen so i was happy. it had a sink and mirror. No ceiling fan or air con and the windows have a stupid rule in london were they open like 10cm for "safety reasons". so its like being in a oven if...

I came across this hotel - more like an upgraded hostel - when searching for accommodation in the Russell Square vicinity because St Pancras Eurostar station is only a 10 minutes walk away. I will travel to Brussels after a 3 nights stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the emails comfirming my reservation and friendly welcome note that followed! Staff...

The rooms are OK however if you factor in the breakfast it is great value for money. you can eat enough and won't need to buy lunch. Next door to shopping Centre and tube station. On direct line from Heathrow. Great as a base when in London. Would highly recommend for the price

Near to bloomsbury square and walk only 2 mins from Russel Square underground station. There is a lot of restaurants and the street are worth exploring. The room is quite ok for a solo traveller. However don't expect too much on the sound-proof. If you can't cope with the noise that someone walk pass or people chit-chating in the morning...
