We stayed two nights here and enjoyed the perfect location. It's not too loud, close to the important sights and it has a good and clean standard for a London-hostel. Everyone of the staff was very alert and helpful. The pub beneath the hostel was cosy and the food was very delicious. When you stay there for the night, you'll...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Horse & Stables at the beginning of Dec for 5 nights. The hostel is above a pub, we were expecting noise to travel to our room however we did not hear anything from the pub itself. Street noise on the other hand, I understand the hostel cannot control this factor but just bear...

I have been three times now. Twice for company Christmas meals and once just for dinner and a drink. On every occasion the food and service were first rate. The staff were extremely helpful, the food was both good quality and reasonably priced. Overall the bar has a lovely atmosphere and I really recommend the pub for a night out...

I stayed at the Horse and Stables for 1 night, on my arrival I was quickly shown to the Dormer where there where 12 beds. The dormer was a nice size and the beds where cosy, But there was no plug sockets by the beds for charging phone, Although some of the tables in the bar had USB sockets for...

Have eaten here a few times. Never good. Tried again tonight as it is quite cheap. Staff rude. I was told to 'tell me what you want' in quite a rude way by a bar staff member who was licking his fingers whilst talking to me having just eaten something. The chef found this very funny so I just left....

My boyfriend and I stopped in on Sunday afternoon for a quiet drink and Sunday lunch. The roast beef was beautifully cooked with the biggest Yorkshire puddings! I had the fish and chips which was also delicious, really flaky fresh fish with a light beer batter with proper homemade chips!! Such good value for high-quality food, excellent service and a...

I just want you to know where are you going to sleep if you choose this hostel from my experience. I stayed with my fiancee 3 nights, in a 10 bed room. We were always visiting places so we were only at night there but it was enough:)) I sincerely do not recommend this hostel if you have 50 more...

Although located over a pub with the same name, I found it quiet even though my room was immediately above the pub.Registration is in the pub. Breakfast is in the pub, since they have a restaurant license they don't allow bringing food into the rooms. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. There is a tube station across the street which is...

We stayed in 6 person room. The beds were really uncomfortable, every time you move on the bed it makes sound, which woke me up every time. Showers were clean but it's really hard to use it, because it's either steaming hot or freezing cold. The WiFi was good and staff was friendly.

This was my first time at hostel and it was much much batter than I expected! The hostel is about 15 minutes of walking from Big Ben and ten minutes from London Eye and when you have to stay on budget and have good shoes you can walk almost anywhere exciting from there (we almost just walk and it was...
