My partner booked this hotel as part of my 40th birthday present, and specifically chose it because he understood from a telephone conversation with the hotel that the room had a private balcony. It became apparent that a misunderstanding had occurred and the room did not have a balcony but does have shared use - with another room - of...

Although in a great location, this hotel did not live up to expectations. Our Double Room was tiny and I mean tiny and so hot we could barely breathe. Luckily we are not large people and managed to get around the bed and just managed to get in the bathroom for a shower, but anyone else would have difficulty. The...

We spent 4 nights at the Regency House Hotel in May 2013 and would recommend it. It's in a great location, close to Oxford St and easy to get to most parts of Central London. It's slightly more expensive than other hotels in the area, but not bad value considering it's London. The room itself was good; the beds were...

We are a family of five and stayed here on the 15th June 2013 in room one. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful and made our stay pleasurable. The location is nothing short of perfect if you are going to enjoy the west end, in fact our children thought we were on the street Peter Pan is filmed in;...

We had one night stay. 5 girls in a 5 bed room. Basic, but very clean (my main criteria), reasonable price, excellent location, very pleasant staff and decent breakfast. Staff were very accommodating and friendly and for me, this makes allllll the difference! Bed was a bit uncomfortable, but for one night i was fine. My friends found the bed...

Stayed for 3 nights and had a pretty good experience. Our room was a good size and fairly well equipped but our friends was noticeably smaller - both on the top floor. Breakfast was good, the staff friendly and helpful. On the downside if you don't like stairs you'd want to check which floor your room would be on as...

Well where do I start? I booked this hotel in April for a one night stay last night with my husband. I telephoned the hotel on Sunday night to confirm the booking and was assured all was well. On arrival we were informed there was 'a problem' with the booking and they were moving us to a sister property where...

This is a different type of review, solely about customer service and courtesy which will become apparent later!! Made a booking for this hotel at the end of march/beginning april for a 1 night stay for myself and my son(15) as we were going to the FA cup final. Arrived at the hotel early as we wanted to leave our...

Our room was like a sauna when we asked the receptionist if they can help, her response was "what do you want me to do?" The hotel is on a busy street so dont expect to sleep with your window open. And we had to pay for extra toilet paper.

Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
