I stay at this hotel twice a year. The reason I choose this hotel over others is because of its proximity to my London office (I'm based in NY). This is a very average 3-star hotel. It's getting old and needs refurbishment. The carpets in the rooms are very old and have visible scratches in them. On my most recent stay, the toilet broke (when I puss the flush button, nothing happened) and they had to move me to another room. The only above-average features of this hotel are good, fast WiFi and good restaurant downstairs. Also, the staff is friendly and pleasant.…
We stayed here for three nights. Our room was a reasonable size, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and we enjoyed undisturbed sleep every night. The modern reception and breakfast areas are light, airy and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and clearly labelled. Staff are happy to advise guests who may have an allergy. The fruit, cheese and cold meats were well presented and cooked dishes were piping hot. All of the staff were cheerful and helpful. Located next door to Greenwich station and only ten minutes walk from Cutty Sark and the Maritime Museum We feel we received great value for money so we will certainly stay here again.…
As crew we requested a late check out due to departure at night and needed to rest. But due to work along the building on the facade I had a room with a lot of noise. Unable to rest. The front desk could have chosen a room more quite.
Novotel in Greenwich confirms the level of Novotel's hotels. The room was clean. The bed almost perfect. Very good bar and restaurant. The best asset of the hotel is the staff, always available. A special mention for Stefano, veri kind and professional.
I enjoyed another short break staying at this Novotel, it was quite clean and comfortable. My one comment would be, that the hotel is due for internal renovation work. WC and bathroom old and tired. A whb in the WC would be hygenically beneficial. Bed very comfortable.
"High floor on the front of the hotel probably have the best view. Train line at the rear of hotel, not aware if this is noisy or not."Read full review
