Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.

We had room 6U, view was amazing, staff were exceptional, room was awesome. Stayed for my sons 18th birthday, they even left a card, sweets and balloons, that little extra step that we were grateful for.

It's a fair distance from Heathrow. I took a taxi from Heathrow because I had 2 big suitcases. It cost almost 100 pounds! But I'm sure this is because we ran into morning rush hour traffic. It would probably cost about 65/75 without the traffic problems. If you have no mobility challenges or heavy bags, Heathrow Express is a good way to got to get into central London.
It's a great place to stay. Enjoy!

Hi there, the distance is around 20-25 km’s but the travel time would vary depending on the traffic. It took us around 45 minutes in mid morning weekday traffic. We were advised by the concierge that it could cost up to £150 in a taxi, so we took an Uber which was around £75.
