Spend 1 night and got upgraded to a family room.Nice and clean room with all facilities.Friendly welcome at arrival and all Covid-19 regulations was followed.Breakfast was good and good space between tables.I will stay here next time in Finchley.
Great room clean good size etc great breakfast, really lovely family run hotel so handy just few minutes walk from the tube and has parking!! Cannot recommend enough really great all round. Right next to high street so plenty of restaurants.
Friendly staff on arrival, spacious hotel, big rooms, ours was airy and bright, very clean and tidy, everything worked properly, breakfast was fantastic, lots to choose from. The location was great very close to shops, cash points, coffee shops etc. Convenient guest parking was a bonus. 7 members of my family all stayed here and we enjoyed it very much! Would return:)
The good things about this hotel: - Location near Woodside Park which is convenient for getting into town - Friendly staff - Breakfast and bar area are all furnished nicely. It is clearly well overdue a referbishment. It was OK for one night but I didn't want to use the shower in our room. There was only one usable socket. Only one bedside light worked. The furniture in the room looked like it had had a hard life. However, the price reflects the condition so for one night in London I would stay again.
In a part of the country where a garden shed could sell for 100k, trying to find decent accommodation on a budget isn't easy. This is where the Glenlyn comes in. It's very reasonable prices, great staff, clean rooms and included breakfast make for great value. My room was small but fine for a couple of days, with a fully functional ensuite. Decor wise a little worn, but I don't plan on staying here forever, so not a worry. Everything was very clean, and I had two perfectly fine nights here. There were one or 2 minor irritations, such as the heating not working, and being very noisy when it did, and my loft space room was a bit cave like, very little natural light. The town itself has plenty of eateries, so all in all a pleasant trip. The other massive plus was the parking, which was always available, and free. …
