Booked 3 nights for my teenage son and I as a base for central London sightseeing. 5 min walk from Barons Court tube station. 5 mins from Sainsburys and Dominos and other takeaways.

Hotel is tidy, rooms are smaller than the likes of Premier Inn but if you aren't spending much time there then that's not a problem. Price was great, around £40 a night, pick up and go breakfast included.

We had a twin room, very comfy beds and a good night's sleep. Plenty of clothes space, TV with freeview and hdmi port available. Kettle and coffee/tea in room also. If you're over 6' 2" you may find the beds a little short but in dure they're normal sized beds.

Bathroom was clean and modern, toiletries provided, which was handy as I'd forgotten shower gel. Hair dryer in room, iron and board available on request. Two shower heads in shower, worked well.

Safe was a little fiddly to work but got there in the end. Air con was a little noisy so couldn't leave it on overnight, but it was definitely effective and cooled the room nicely.

Reception had pretty much a full bar behind with ice cold beers, soft drinks, wines, spirits and real ales. Staff were really helpful, was able to leave luggage for a few hours after check out before our train home.

Breakfast was covid restricted unfortunately. Croissants, preserves, Yoghurt, fruit, juice boxes, oat bars all available along with brown packed lunch bags.

The only negative was that, probably attracted by the cheap price, one or two guests were not considerate of others and made unnecessary noise at 2-3am, talking at normal levels in the hallways. Staff were very apologetic when informed though.

Will definitely book again when we return to London. Premier Inn standards at half the price.

Lovely clean room within easy walking distance of tube and Olympia - ideal for Dragcon ❤️
Clean, comfortable and quiet so a good sleep.
The shower was awesome. I wanted to take it home with me.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful and really took the time to offer help and advice. We stored our luggage there all day after check out and they invited us in to wait till out Uber came and said we could use the bathroom etc. We really appreciated it with a 4 hour coach trip ahead of us.

I would definitely recommend.
Thanks so much W14 😊

The room was extremely small, but for the price (£35) - to stay in this part of London - it was amazing value (admittedly during lockdown). The room was nicely decorated and the bathroom great. There was no noice from outside or within the hotel.

Due to Civid we were unable to travel. We booked everything last November and December before we had even heard of Covid. This is the only hotel that would not give us our money back. All the other ones did even though we had booked them all at the lesser price of "no refund" I will never use or recommend this hotel because of their lack of empathy nor will we ever book through booking.com who did not help us like the other booking sites did. NOT IMPRESSED!

We are a family of 5 (3 adults, 2 children) and stayed there for 6 nights in 2 rooms. The hotel is very nice, rooms are of a good standard and most of the employees are fantastic, very polite and welcoming. I would have surely stayed again there, only if, the only blond female receptionist is fired! She bullied us all through our stay there, was arrogant and rude without knowing us or having any reason. She spoke down on us and even instructed her collegue to charge us 50 pounds because my young son had a small accident and wet the bed! Have in mind that his pajamas were dry and neither he or us knew of this, but under her instructions, her collegue accused us publicly of wetting the bed, in front of others and orderd us to pay 50 pounds! When I mentioned that it may be one of the kids she realized her mistake but it was too late..she already humiliated us. If a hotel accepts kids, its obvious such accidents may happen, and the hotel should be prepared by having bed protectors on kids beds. If you have kids, dont stay there! THey may say they accept them but under this ladys command they will charge you for such incidents. All other staff who are indian are fantastic, they will make you feel very welcomed, but if there is a blonde at reception... be ware... she can definitely spoil your holiday experience, like she did for us. I surely hope that the manager replaces her because other than her, the hotel is very good and I would highly reccomend it.

Positives -
Clean
Great shower
An actual bed for the 3rd guest in the room opposed to a sofa bed
Tea & Coffee facilities in room
Inexpensive

Negatives -
Noisy due to thin walls and inconsiderate guests talking all hours throughout the night. Reception unable to deal with after several complaints
Breakfast not inviting. Help yourself in a room at the back of the hotel. Seating outside but dirty and in need of replacing.

Will
Not be staying here again.

Booked this hotel, as it was mentioned on the website facilities parking available, BUT didn’t mention we had to pay £7 an hour to park outside the hotel. Very misleading!!!, which cost us extra. Service was rubbish, room not serviced, bedding not changed next day, till we had to ring at 1pm and left dirty cups, not replace them with clean ones. No apology at all. There was no milk, sugar, coffee or tea bags, topped up the next day. Definitely not recommend. A big let down. Complained at the reception but didn’t even got apology, just looked at us, like they weren’t even bothered!!!!

I stayed in a single room at the W14, and overall I am very pleased with my experience.

After booking my room, I had some trouble confirming my booking, and a few nights before my stay, I received an email saying my reservation had been cancelled. This caused me a bit of stress, however, the friendly man on the phone sorted it out quickly (within 15 minutes).

The hotel's location is nice and is near a few convenience shops and West Kensington tube stop, which was very helpful for getting into the city centre.

As a solo traveller, safety was my priority and I felt very safe in this hotel. I liked that somebody was always manning reception and that the doors had a double lock on the inside.

As my room was on the ground floor near reception, I did find it a bit noisy as I could hear other visitors talking to the receptionist.

The actual room itself was lovely. I could control the room temperature, there were different lighting options, a tea and coffee station, and a small TV which was nice to fall asleep to. My favourite part was the modern bathroom which was warm, bright, and relaxing. There was lots of space for my belongings. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

There were only a few downsides: I could feel a slight breeze coming from the window that I couldn't manage to close overnight, which messed with the room temperature. Also, I found the duvet to be a bit thin. Finally, the WiFi was unreliable, and I had to keep reconnecting every 15 minutes or so, and even if I managed to reconnect, it was extremely slow.

Overall, for an overnight stay in London, I think I got a very good deal and I am happy with my experience. For some a 35 minute commute into the city centre may be inconvenient but I didn't at all mind. My main criticisms would only be the WiFi speed and the window.

I definitely recommend it for any solo traveller who is looking for a comfortable stay outside the city.

I had a room booked for 3 days this May. We arrived and found an okay hotel. It was tight quarters with the 'lobby' being a narrow hallway with barely room for someone to walk past when you are trying to check in. The stairs to our room, which was the level lower than the lobby, were both steep and shallow making carrying multiple suitcases down a challenge. Our room looked better than I was expecting given the lobby and hallways.

Unfortunately the room let us down too. First the in room safe was broken. We called the front desk and they kept repeating the instructions on how to use it. Only after we actually went to the front desk to talk to them did we get a 'well someone from maintenance can look at it tomorrow'. We went out for a couple of hours to explore the area and go to dinner. When we returned to our room we found the bathroom floor covered in water and saw water dripping out of a light fixture in the ceiling. Again, we called the front desk. They said they'd investigate. 10 - 15 minutes later, the front desk person comes to the room and tells us no one is in the room above us. I said great but that doesn't address the water still dripping from the ceiling. He comes in and looks at it, taking the fixture out of the ceiling and pouring water out. He shakes it off and puts it back. Then he turns and tells us that the water has stopped dripping. As he says this, we see water drip on him. I say we can't stay in a room where water is dripping from the bathroom ceiling. He says the hotel is full so he can't move us. When I press him for options he says he needs to see what can be done.

Another 10 - 15 minutes later (in which we close up our luggage and get ready to leave the room) he calls and says he can move us to their other hotel and he'll pay for the cab. The hotel we end up at is absolutely disgusting. The couch in the lobby (a room instead of a hall this time) looks like someone got sick on it, it was scrapped off and then put back. I don't remember the name of the 'sister' hotel because we didn't stay there.

When I asked for a refund I was told to file a protest with my travel agency. My travel agency said the hotel only agreed to refund 10% of the charge. So, horrible hotel and horrible service.

Quiet neighborhood, close to metro station, so the location is great. Please note that this hotel does not have a lift. Drinks and snacks were purchased at reception. Grocery store nearby and also a sports bar where you got good food and football on TV. The room was clean and spacious enough, the cleaning was every day, and breakfast was also available, which was very basic. I can recommend, the price affordable.
