Combining architectural heritage with contemporary design, Hotel Cafe Royal is a modern grand hotel in the heart of London's West End between Mayfair and Soho. 160 guestrooms and suites have been created in a contemporary yet refined style. Twenty four hours of sheer bliss! The spa was heaven, and the food even more heavenly. The staff could not have been anymore attentive, polite and delightful. We were upgraded to a suite overlooking Regents Street, Piccadilly Circus and the Christmas lights. The cake & bubbles experience is highly recommended for an afternoon of indulgence, with exquisite and inventive pastries! The hotel has managed to navigate the challenges of Covid-19 very well, with outstanding in-room dining—special mention to Kevin for his brilliant service and being so attentive making frequent visits to serve our food and drinks. Also, private access to the spa & gym was arranged for one household at a time. Thank you to Gemma for being so lovely and friendly upon arrival, the spa was gorgeous. Kyle & Remy were particularly accommodating, patient and friendly at front of house—ensuring that we were comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. They were always very happy to talk and tell us more about the history of the Hotel Cafe Royal. Also, Osman was very charming and polite on the door throughout our stay. We had a fabulous stay, the Royal breakfast in the morning was amazing, and would thoroughly recommend spending a night (or several) here! Location is second to none. Overall incredible service from the Hotel team, working hard throughout the Christmas/New Year period, during Covid—and still smiling!

We are used to staying in the top hotels all over the world so can be quite discerning with our expectations. We stayed previously a number of years ago and were keen to see how the hotel was after a recent refurb. The hotel looks fantastic and they have done a great job with the new lobby and the excellent spa and swimming pool. The rooms remain clean cut and minimalistic but cater for all your needs. The best thing is the SERVICE. Absolutely 100%. From the moment you arrive the doormen greet you with a smile and remain keen to assist throughout your stay to the moment you leave. Kim was fabulous in resolving a minor issue with breakfast on day 1 but made sure we were properly looked after that small issue. Gemma was welcoming and very friendly and made us feel comfortable in saying hello whilst my daughter enjoyed herself at a half term special kids club organised by the hotel. The team at the Cakes and Bubbles were all welcoming and knowledgeable. I leave my 2 favourites till last - Rene and Remy ! These 2 more than made us feel at home. Professional yet personal and nothing was any trouble. Rene’s enthusiasm for his job and his beloved football team was infectious and is the best concierge I have met for a number of years. Remy personally showed me nearly every room available to make sure when we return for a long stay at Christmas we will be properly looked after. 5 star hotels are great but none make you feel special without the service. The team at the Hotel Cafe Royal deserve 6 Stars !! Thank you all and see you all soon !!

Has become a firm favourite of ours since visiting just after lockdown. Remy has always been so accommodating and making sure our stay has been the best possible. The breakfast is a must as it’s an experience all in itself, with various courses and only the best ingredients served overlooking Regents Street in the restaurant Cake & Bubble. Their head of concierge, René, will truly look after you, booking you amazing dinners, tickets and arranging absolutely anything you need in London. Every time we’ve stayed now he’s recommended some of the best restaurants I’ve ever tried in London. The doormen are ready to get you a taxi whenever you need, or an umbrella if the weather has turned. Then when you arrive back with too much shopping there on hand! If your looking for a good staycation or just for a bit of London shopping the Cafe Royal is the best place to stay.
