We've stayed in Griffin House's basement apartment twice now, and both times it was exactly what we were looking for. The garden space is impressive (although we didn't use it much due to our visits being in the middle of winter), and the apartment itself is very cosy while also providing enough space for the three of us. The kitchen facilities were adequate for our purposes, enabling us to self-cater a lot during our stay in London. The hosts are friendly but not invasive, leaving us completely alone for our entire stay. If we needed anything it was good to know they were on-hand, but we didn't have any cause to bother them as the flat just had everything we needed already. Would definitely stay with these guys again. The location is absolutely brilliant if you need to get around by Tube. We also very much enjoy the hosts' dog, he's lovely.…

We booked direct with hosts. No issues via direct bank transfer. We took garden apartment as we had a dog, what an asset! The apartment was small but perfectly formed. This was the most well equipped apartment we have ever stayed in, and if it wasn't there, Ben provided it if we asked. We had our car, and by communicating with Ben ahead of time, paid street parking was arranged at £7 per day. Other previous 5 dot reviews cover everything we would say. We WILL stay again and we recommend highly.

My partner and I stayed at the Griffin House garden apartment the first week of September. It was truly paradise. The apartment was perfect, two large bedrooms, three lovely gardens at our disposal, and the kindest, attentive and knowledgeable host in the owner Nic (Ben was on hols). Every review praising these apartments is true. The Underground (Victoria/Central lines) is just a ten minute walk away - it takes 20 min to get to the West End - and the bus stop is barely five minutes from the property. There is a large convenience store (great for early morning latte and fresh baked croissants), dry cleaner and beauty salon right across the street. We fell in love with Bruno, the owner's sweet dog who is so friendly and made us laugh - we spoiled him to death! Believe every glowing review left for Griffin House - once you stay there, you will never stay anywhere else and won't want to leave. Thank you, Ben I hope to see you in February!…

Wow what a spacious apartment, & with 2 generous double bedrooms, & it's fully kitted our kitchen ticked the box. The location is so convenient for the tube network. On top of all this from the garden apartment one has just a few steps to the delightfully exotic garden, oh what a great joy to have a cuppa & watch the terrapins swimming !

This self contained apartment ( called the garden apartment ason ground floor with its own private entrance ) was fabulous, nicely decorated, clean, spacious and everything needed for a weekend break, it was like a home from home for us both. The shared garden area looked so relaxing, beautifully laid out and like a little oasis in the metropolis! with local facilities, shops, underground in easy walking distance plus very friendly owners! Maybe due to the age of the building but upper apartment floorboards were not very soundproof, but a minor detail to an overall fantastic stay in an elegant town building! Please keep in mind they have a lovely and adorable pet dog who may wander in to the apartment from the garden, however he is very friendly.

We spent a long weekend at Griffin House Holiday Apartments. The apartment was nice and clean, just a sshown in the pictures. Helmut was more than helpful when my husband forgot his phone on the airplane. We would definitely recommend the apartment and always return here when travelling to London

This was our fourth visit to the Griffin House. We really like the location. It's close to two tube stations and convenient for exploring London. Ben and Nic are very hospitable and little Bruno is so cute! The apartment has all the necessary amenities. The beds are very comfortable. And we loved the new wooden floors! The upper apartment is truly our home away from home. We will definitely be back for yet another visit!

We are just wrapping up an 8 day stay at griffin house and it was amazing. Nicholas and Ben are great hosts and the apartment is great. What makes this truly a great stay is the garden area. After spending full days touring London in the throngs of humanity it is wonderful to relax in the garden oasis they have created. The tube station is a very short walk and from there you have quick access to anywhere in the city.

We had a wonderful stay in the upstairs apartment which was clean, well-equipped, very comfortable and close to public transportation. The weather was a little cool, but we were still able to sit in the lovely garden a couple of times. The hosts were very friendly, helpful, welcoming, and very quick to respond to any concerns or questions before and during our stay. We highly recommend this apartment.
