We have stayed several times at the Grange, and always find the experience good. The location, within a stone's throw of St. Paul's Cathedral and 5 minutes from the Millennium Bridge make it a great place to use as a base for exploring the City. Our check-in experience was exceptional this time, with the person more than willing to offer...

Following a great stay at the Grange Holburn in January me and my partner decided to try out The grange St. Paul's and we were taken back at just how much better it was! First of all the location was great and we were impressed at the structure of the hotel. The room was stylish, well equipped and provided a...

Stayed for the weekend, beautiful atrium and spa/swimming pool etc. But the rooms were just the same as your average Hilton. Drinks were overly expensive and the staff on the bar didn't really seem to be interested unless you had a tuxedo on. The guys on the door were really friendly and pleased to help and keen for a chat...

Have just come back from a 1 night stay at this hotel. I booked online directly with hotel as this was cheapest option. We really liked the modern feel and were made to feel very welcome. It was my bf's birthday and they provided tasty cupcakes as a goodwill gesture which was appreciated. We had a corner room on 2nd...

I loved my stay here, the hotel room was large, spacious, and the bathroom was great having a 4 piece suite. The room service was fast and the man delivering was very professional, there was turn...

Stayed over the Easter weekend getting a cheap deal on the web. Spent two night in a deluxe room which was wonderful, very well equipped with great service. Booked in early but the room was ready so was able to unpack and grab some thing to eat in the bar. Bar food was lovely and good value. The location of...

Superb hotel in a great central location, convenient for the tube and central London. Great service at check-in and breakfast. Rooms are immaculately presented, spacious and comfortable. Would appreciate a compliamentry bottle of mineral water in the rooms given how bad London tap water tastes.

Stayed here for a combination of business and pleasure. Great location close to St Paul's, walking distance to plenty of interesting areas - Southwark, Smithfield, etc. Smooth check in, friendly staff, I arrived on an early morning flight but was able to check in early which was appreciated. Very large room by London standards, wifi included. Comfortable bed and sky...

Great civilised hen Spa weekend. Every aspect of the visit was excellent. Would highly recommend. Spa was clean, relaxing and contemporary. Treatments received were excellent. Rooms were luxurious and spotlessly clean. Was impressed with the climate control air conditioning. Breakfast although continental, was superb and probably better then the full English breakfast which required a supplement. Service. Truly 5 star...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
