Beautiful place indoors and outdoors. The food is great. The rooms are really nice for a group. Within a five minute walk from the Swiss Cottage tube station that can get you anywhere in London. Also within a five minute walk from the O2 center where you can get good food like Nando's, Wagamama and Pizza Express. You can play darts in the pub downstairs, there's a ping pong table and a pool table which you have to pay for but it's great fun. Would highly recommend I
• Pros: - Excellent Wi-Fi in all the building - Clean and we’ll structured place - Good price - Good location (not the best, but still good; near Abby Road btw) - Kind staff • Cons: - The breakfast is too simple for the price (£7), so skip it if you can; they lack things like pancakes, cereal or more variety of food in general - In the big shares rooms people can be annoying (turning the light off early, making a lot of noice with their alarms in the morning, etc), so I would recommend staying in a smaller room
Just loved everything about it! Very well organised. Vibrant. You meet people of all ages. Very well located. Zone 2 in London. In a very wide road. Leafy. The bunk beds are only fantastic. Wide spacious bed with individual lamp for reading. Big drawer to place your bags. Clean organised bathrooms. Nice basic breakfast offered. And great friendly atmosphere. For those looking for a really nice and comfortable stay in a central area, that’s an amazing choice. Actually I stayed there in November 2011.
Looked like a great place to stay, but unfortunately I was made to leave with nowhere to go. Stayed here during the lock down of London, wasn't given any clarity as what was happening and then was told that hostel would be closing on March 30, but wasn't allowed to extend stay until this date, even though guests with existing bookings were. Management is not human, nor does it have an ounce of compassion. Very disappointed in the way this situation was handled. If you would like to know more, you can find me sleeping in the bus stop around the corner.
The first night that I arrived was karaoke night, the staff were so nice and it really got people to know each other, from that night I bonded with 8 people from karaoke that we went out every day together and now keep in touch. The staff are very good and the breakfast is definitely worth doing, full buffet for a fiver. The beds were clean with a curtain for privacy. The unisex showers were great as each shower has 2 sections a main door with a place to hang your towel and to change then a curtain and behind that is the shower.great pressure and hot water. Deffinetly recommend going to karaoke night and the hostel.
