Set within the Sea Containers building - originally designed by acclaimed American architect Warren Platner - on London’s South Bank, the hotel boasts 359 guest rooms and suites, Sea Containers restaurant serving up fresh modern cuisine, an award-winning experimental cocktail bar spearheaded by master mixologist Ryan Chetiyawardana, and an exclusive rooftop bar with panoramic views over the River Thames. Designed by Design Research Studio under the creative direction of visionary Tom Dixon, Sea Containers London is also home to a maritime-inspired 56-seat cinema and spa. Inspired by the golden age of ocean cruising, a time when exotic ingredients were introduced to the world, and an abundance of fresh local produce was celebrated, the three distinctive food and drink venues each offer a dynamic experience. Flavourful dishes range from nourishing to hearty at Sea Containers Restaurant, which is perfect for an al fresco lunch by the river, sunset cocktails or an atmospheric dinner. Experience innovative cocktails in the award-winning Dandelyan, awarded Best Bar in the World 2018 by World's Fifty Best, with its sweeping green marble bar and distinctive pink seating. Take in panoramic views of the London skyline from our rooftop bar 12th Knot, which features a beautifully appointed lounge and outdoor terrace for unobstructed views over the River Thames.

Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.

My wife and I thought i would be a nice idea to spend the night and have dinner, apart the the fire alarm going off, the extremely rude and unhelpful staff, the room phone charging plug socket not working, and the fact that even if you're a guest and finished your meal we

Dear Joan M G, Thank you for taking the time to leave your kind feedback. I'm over the moon to hear how much you loved your stay with us, from our beautiful South Bank location to the delicious breakfast buffet! I look forward to welcoming you back to Mondrian London in the future. Warm regards, Sergio.

Stayed at this hotel for Christmas. Fabulous location with great view of Thames. Ultra modern in design with good sized rooms and very comfortable bed. Restaurant is also really funky. Will definitely return. Highly recommended.

You can't fault this hotel on style, but the most important part is getting a good nights sleep. This is hard as the air conditioning was so loud and there is no way to turn it down. Drinks are super expensive in the bar but nice.

I think the superior room is larger. I was upgraded to one on the 12th floor. Rooms are not enormous but they are efficiently laid out.

Yes! There are great views to be had on the river side in a superior room just make sure you get a high floor! I stayed on the 15th floor in a superior room and had an amazing view of the water and City skyline...

They are not river view, i'm not sure if some have river view? you'd need to contact the hotel to check that. The studio room I had, the view was along Barge House Street (I think) and It was fine.

You can see the river but you’re not overlooking it. Most rooms are perpendicular to the river so you either look west or East . Mine looked west. You need to be on higher floors for better views.
