Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

No soap and towels in our room. When speaking to reception was given a shrug of the shoulders and made to feel like we were an inconvenience. Check in was fine but very impolite check out. On the plus side the pub next door is warm and welcoming with hot food.

Grotty outside, front door damaged, car park fence falling over. Plenty of towels, no soap, etc provided and the bathroom door on a ballcatch so if privacy an issue for you there wasn't any. Bathroom door handle came off (and replaced) No breakfast available unless yoiu order a carry out one. Definitely no frills then but did its job as a place to sleep and wash up (unless you forgot to bring your washbag of course.

The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious for my needs with 2 children. I would recommend the hotel for as good value for money with a small budget. The Toby Carvery next door was nice and helped with the stay

We came because our neighbours suggested we try it out when talking about getting away for the weekend. its a nice place tucked away kind of gave a cottage feel. the room we got was facing the back but it was great because it was quiet, so we got a good night sleep. With the weather changing we asked the lovely receptionist Megan if there was any spare blankets but she was able to give us an extra duvet- which was amazing ad kept us warm all night. checking out was quick and easy just like check in. it even smelt like watermelons when stepping through the door.

Nobody likes having to stay away from home for a long period of time, but I was forced to do so because of my work at the Crown Court about 10 minutes walk from the Travelodge at which I stayed. It was the ideal place to be, clean, comfortable and welcoming.

After having our worst Travelodge customer service experience at Travelodge Walthamstow, we have been moved to Snaresbrook which turned out to be one of the best Travelodge hotels in terms of friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms and great location close to the tube station. I would totally recommend this hotel. Thanks to the lovely staff.

Visiting family last minute this was available at a good rate for the area. If your expecting all frills then this is not the hotel for you. I can say the hotel was clean and quiet despite being on a very busy road. Staff are friendly and helpful.

👏Clean, peaceful & perfect for a good night’s sleep. Booking was super simple, even though we left it last minute. The receptionist, Talib, was very considerate towards us, making sure we had a comfortable sleep & even gave us extra pillows/blankets. Will definitely be returning if I’m in the area again. Highly recommended!✅
