Stayed here for one night as I was attending a course in Pimlico. Friendly staff, great location, amazing apartment (absolutely massive). Only down sides - rooms were a bit cool and radiators didn't seem to come on. Also, apartment next to the lift shaft is noisy. Lots of mechanical clicking and banging most of the night. Would return but request...

I lived here for nearly a year, the staff was very responsive to the needs of the guest, it is central located with access to shopping, transportation and walking distance from many things. It's clean and safe although the property is older the interior of the flats are modern and very well kept. I would re commend this to anyone...

We've long stated at Dolphin Square Hotel and now Dolphin House as it has some of the biggest rooms in London, is centrally located to everything, and is in a charming area of Pimlico. This trip was very disappointing as the hotel has gone downhill year after year. There is no longer even a hotel entrance as instead they really...

Overall I'm satisfied with my experience of this hotel. Mine was an economy double room on the ground floor. I was happy with the size of the room, the extremely comfortable bed and the very nice bathroom. On the first night I wanted a bath but the water would only come out of the shower and I couldn't change it....

There are two really good things about Dolphin House hotel – the location is great as the Pimlico tube station is close by and the two local bus services go to useful places you would use as a tourist. Secondly, the laundry in the basement is good. After that I can say it's not the best. Firstly don’t visit if...

Great value. The rooms were well sized with proper bedroom and sitting room and a small kitchenette. The breakfast buffet wasn't the best but otherwise a great location within walking distance to the Pimlico tube stop.

We were delighted to stay at this fantastic hotel. Our 24 staff could easily access the hotel as its only a few stops on the Victoria line from King's cross. A little slower than I would like on check in for a large group, but the short wait is worth it. A beautiful pool drawing water from the artesian well,...

Spent one night here. Extremely comfortable bed, very clean and equipment good. Although small the room was sufficient for our needs for an overnight stay. It is ideally situated for a walk along the embankment into Westminster. The downside of our visit was the breakfast. We waited over 40 minutes and many requests for a bowl of porridge. Even asking...

We stayed at the Dolphin for 11 days. We chose this accommodation as we wanted a relaxing stay. We opted for a one bedroom apartment. Whilst the services where very good, the pool, the gym , shops etc.The apartment itself was quite shabby, we had a hob and microwave but no oven , the shower did not drain and bad...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
