I recently stayed at Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Wharf Hotel in London, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite ordering room service for 10 am, it arrived a whole 55 minutes early at 9:05 am. The delivery person even banged on the door, disrupting our peace. When questioned about the early delivery, we were simply told they were busy and decided to bring it early without any consideration for our requested time. This lack of respect for guests' schedules and disregard for basic courtesy left a sour taste in my mouth, and I cannot recommend this hotel based on this experience.

Hotel's Favourite
Chose this hotel for its relative close proximity to the 02 and its fabulous views of the arena and river. Hotel was fantastic, staff super friendly and helpful. Reception area very spacious with comfy sofas. Plenty of staff on duty for check in/out so no long queues. Rooms very quiet evnfortunately no veggie option on ten though there is a major road to one side and of course the DLR but we couldn't hear anything at night, even the corridors were silent even though we had people staying opposite and next door. Everywhere is very clean, the room and bathroom were spotless. Very upmarket toiletries. Closet with ironing board, iron and professional hairdryer. Bed was super comfy and huge!! Flat screen TV with all the usual channels. Air con and controllable heating. Free tea and coffee and nespresso machine, fridge, free water. WIFI was excellent. Fully carpeted room as were all the corridors. Fantastic ice making machine on each floor!! Area around hotel felt very safe, there is a night time Security Guard on the entry to the Wharf so no unneccesary passing traffic. Hotel grounds has landscaped gardens, bench seating and decking so you can walk to the river (20 yards!!) and along the wharf itself. Be lovely in the summer (it was freezing the day we were there, but sunny). Views over the river great and light show at night from the 02. Lots of UBER water taxis to watch and the cable car in the distance. Breakfast was excellent, full English and continental buffet. We are very glad we chose this hotel although it was not that easy to get to the 02 by taxi, the traffic was awful. We paid about £28 each way to the arena (which was worth it, having seen the horrendous queues for the tube when we came out, plus the threatened strikes!). Top tip. Reception will book your cab for you but leave yourself a good hour if you are planning on seeing a show. However, a black cab was the cheapest option, £5 less than the Uber chap, so try and book direct. We drove up to London (about 70 miles) and did ask about parking at the Radisson, which costs £25 per 24 hours, but as it isn't pre-reservable we decided to use Just Park and found several secure spaces within a 8=10 minute walk of the hotel, so used that website. When we arrived we had a look at the parking and there was quite a few allocated spaces around the hotel but not many vacant. We may have been lucky but didn't want to risk it. It worked fine for us. Would totally recommend a stay at this hotel for any occasion

Generally this hotel was very good. The reception staff were very welcoming and first impressions as you walk into the building also very good. We got to our room and initially were disappointed to see our view was of a building site. However we were not there for the view so could excuse this. The room its self was really well equipped. However the standards of cleaning are questionable. The mirrors had not been cleaned despite being clearly dirty. The shower door was much the same. The fridge was shockingly filthy and sticky. There were McDonald’s ketchup pots under the bed. The amount of dust on every surface was phenomenal. I accept building work next door would be the cause of some of this. Cleaning here seems very basic. A quick hoover and make the beds kind of job. Overall we had a good stay the beds were really comfy and items in the room replenished daily. The bar was also very nice and again the staff were lovely. Management just needs to address the cleaning issue.

All the staff were polite, helpful and very friendly. We drove and there is parking but it is £25 per 24 hours! Could do with toning down the air freshener in the lobby as it is has an overpowering sickly smell. We knew we would not going to stay in our room much so being in the cheaper rooms over looking flats, waste ground and fly over didn't bother us but if you want a view of the river and the 02 then make sure you ask for the right rooms! Breakfast is a buffet. All normal items. They cook to order and the omelette was superb. Please please please sort out the tea though. It is served to your table via a large thermos/jug. It has the colour of the Thames and is tepid. It is undrinkable. I guess they make up batches first thing but it really does not work. We ended up taking teabags from our room and asking for hot water (which is hot). Room is spacious. Bathroom huge! Spotlessly clean. Heard no noise outside or in. Nice toiletries. Large bed, mattress was too firm for us but that is personal choice. DLR wasn't running but plainly normally that is a good way to get in to London. We ended up walking to Canary Wharf (not too far and lots of lovely restaurants) and getting on the Thames Clipper service which was excellent. Aside from the atrocious tea, it's a good hotel!

We knew that the hotel was not in Canary Wharf but there was a DLR close by. However the hotel did not make us aware that the DLR was not working! Not even when we checked in! It’s a 15-20 min walk to Canary Wharf.

I don’t know where to begin. 10 of us ladies came to stay for my best friends, bridal shower this weekend. The attention to detail by the events team was incredible, thank you Reshma and Nicki who went above and beyond to make it perfect for us and especially the bride. Also Matt who works on the front reception desk ensured that all the details we planned were executed well and our stay was enjoyable. We will be back here to stay, it made for a successful and beautiful hen weekend. The facilities are also 10/10. Thank you so much again events team!

Booked this as I like the Radisson hotels and this one was relatively close to the ExCel which was the main purpose of my visit. I was very happy with the standard of the hotel in terms of cleanliness, food and quality of staff. The only downside is that the taxi company they use are extortionate so use Uber as the hotel is slightly off the beaten track so you won’t be able to flag down a London cab.

Wonderful service and room in a beautiful setting t. I had contacted the hotel before our stay and dealt with Maria who was very helpful in arranging balloons and rose petals in the bedroom for my boyfriend’s birthday. When we arrived the receptionist was very helpful and we were both offered Prosecco whilst we were checked in. We were extremely happy with a free upgrade to a junior suite, as well as free drinks vouchers for the bar, a cake and card were also brought to the room. The room was beautiful and very clean. We wish we had parked at the hotel but having read there was limited parking has booked elsewhere although the receptionist told us on arrival there are spaces for 50 cars and they’ve never had to turn anyone away. So next time we visit we will take advantage of the onsite parking. The spa facilities are also included in your stay. We could not fault the hotel and will use again

Was a very posh hotel with friendly staff who were very professional unfortunately felt the room wasn’t what we had paid for as there was no bath the water temperature didn’t seem to be too hot and we were placed in an accessibility room which was needed. Which someone else could have benefited from better however was a posh hotel just felt slightly let down as it was our first stay at a posh hotel and felt we didn’t quite get what we paid for

Dear @Jack g, Thankyou for taking the time to share you feedback regarding your stay with us at Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel, We value your insights as they help us strive towards providing an excellent service to all our guests. It is delightful to hear your kind words about our professional and friendly staff. Our team is indeed committed to offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. However, we regret to learn about your dissatisfaction with the room assignment. Post your feedback - we looked through your reservation and can see that you booked for a queen room with accessible features. These rooms are designed for guests with special needs and for their comfort and safety we limit the water temperatures to avoid any incidents. As a general rule, if a guest books for a room with accessible features we do not change room type as health and safety of our guest is very important. We apologize if the room was not up to your expectations. Following on from that- we have gone ahead and updated your profile to not allocate accessible featured rooms in your future stays. We hope that you will not let this incident deter you from choosing to stay with us in the future. We look forward to welcoming you back, offering you the exceptional experience that you deserve.
